I am surprised at how many people get an embroidery machine and think they hit a button and poof out comes perfect designs. Other people who buy the output think the same, “why is it so expensive doesn’t the machine just spit it out?”. Someone once complimented me on a shirt I had done and someone else said “oh she has a machine”. They wouldn’t think that if it was a car. You just buy one and go anywhere without learning to drive, or the rules, or the cost.
You make such a great point! 😊 Embroidery truly is an art that takes time, skill, and understanding-both in creating designs and bringing them to life on fabric. Thank you for sharing your perspective; it’s always great to hear from others who recognize the dedication that goes into it! 💜
Do you mean an underlay on top of the stitch? If so, absolutely-great idea! 😊 Using two layers can help improve the final look of your design. Let us know if you have any other questions or tips! 💜
