    Thank you! I’m not a professional, but I recently purchased a nail drill to use on myself. Some of my cuticles have spread, and I wanted to know which bits to use and the best way to remove the cuticle. Your video and instructions are excellent!

    I’m wondering how long does it take from manicure until you finish polishing the whole ten fingers?

    hi, i was watching the video and the drill bit you used to cut the cuticles you said was blue and just wanted to check if it was blue for some reason and on screen it was black. i was looking into getting some drill bits to try different ones as i don't much like ball bit so wanted to be sure before i bought so i got the right color. thanks!

      hi, it was blue but it got darker with time due to sterilization ( I use a hot-air sterilizer) 💅🏻

    My daughter (4yo) have spreading cuticles and i have been thinking of doing this on her!
    She says it hurts bc the cuticle sometimes get stuck on the nail plate and make a small wound as the nail grows and stretch the cuticle and skin 😥

    • @misam6224
      @misam6224 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      4y you shouldn't even touch her cuticles....

    • @rebeckamalmin7792

      @@misam6224our family G.P. recommended it bc its better to push them back and remove excess. If not her cuticle stick to nail plate and ends up in painful wounds.
      Now she can wash her hands without being in pain 👍🏻

    Some say never cut that since it s the proximal nail fold or something. That that is not the cuticle and it should be only moisturized. Is that dead tissue or alive one? Can someone help?

    • @nailssakramel3158
      @nailssakramel3158  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      hi, this particular part is the spreading cuticle and we can remove it, it isn't alive, the key point is to cut it the right away to keep the skin protected🌸

      @@nailssakramel3158 my manichiurist does the same as you exactly and it inflames my nail fold each time..After that I read that the cuticle is the one left on the nail and that is the only thing that should be cut. I m still in doubt. ..

      It is the proximal nail fold. Cuticle is the dead white skin on the nail plate. I wish techs would stop calling it cuticle!

    Working by the cuticle area looks scary......😂😂 im afraid id cut to much of it. Isn't the cuticle a form of protection surrounding the entire nail?

    But when I get cuticles like these.. I choose to cut with scissors because to me the cuticles are wet and cutting with a bit is not suitable for these types... well that is what I have been told.. so is it better to do it with a bit on these kind of cuticle types?

      It's a new hack. Very helpful if clients have sweaty or wet hands, you shouls try. Maybe buy a small container and put the talc inside instead of bringing a whole bottle. Lol

    Those are proximal nail folds not cuticle

  • @margarethole4346
    @margarethole4346 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Yikes, you are cutting the proximal nail fold (live skin) not the cuticle. With time the nail fold will grow ridiculously out of control and thick because of the abuse it is taking. I know this as it happened to me. Buffing the skin around the nail manually or electronically also will cause the skin to become worse unless you do it several times a week, exfoliating creams are better. No ones nails realistically look like that, setting yourself up for infection and a lifetime of excessive manicures.

    Why would choose to do a video with such filthy nails? Even after you said that it's the nail tech's job to clean them, they were still dirty. Ugh. And how do people walk around with such disgusting nails?
