that right there is how Stevie rolled, always paying respect to the brothers who came before him! the man was so respectful and respected in return. Couldn't Stand The Weather would be a great reaction as well...Enjoy
Stevie loved him some Johnny Copeland. Goes to show how important music is to the world...it knows no color. I never tire of this performance. Loved your reaction to it...ty.
So here is the funny thing SRV was so honored to play with true blues guys like Johnny Copeland, Buddy Guy, and BB King. Every one of his mentors said it was an honor playing with SRV. BB King actually said SRV was a black man trapped in a white mans body.
I was reading an article about this performance. Don't know if it's accurate but apparently Johnny Copeland forgot his verse so he improvised his verse. Couldn't ever tell with how smooth it went. Legends both of them
Man I love your videos, one of the classiest reaction channels on you tube, you never disappoint and you always have a positive take on the song you are showcasing, God bless and keep them coming
Who's the master? Lmfao SRV for sure. Smooth guitar and didn't miss his line like a rookie. Yet im sure there was some boogersugar passed around prior. Still my favorite performance. Johnny grows on me everytime I watch this. The soul is unreal. But Stevie smokes him
Everytime you hear stevie ray it's a different version he just plays with so much heart and soul and an intense sound for blues he set the bar for the blues
Tin pan ally is a real place it is in London.Did you know he played with a 12 gauge guitar?I loved this man and still do.Please react to Lenny he wrote it for his wife. Thanks for the appreciation for his music. He played with some of the greats.Johnny being one of them.😂
George carlin has a great bit about how white people should never play the blues cause we have nothing to be blue about....but he would def make an exception for stevie ray Vaughn......closest we've ever come to jimi and probably ever will. Little wing next plz if you haven't reacted to that yet, live version though
Hip-hopers, rappers and crappy pop singers. Go back home, lock the doors. Don't come back until you can play 5 notes and sing "Mary has a little lamb". With no Autotune fake singing, neither studio fake tricks and tracks. What you hear is major league in music. You're still in primary school.
Also look at them at the end hugging and joking this is what the USA 🇺🇸 should look like
Nothing but Love!

Johnny Copeland was a true bluesmen. It sounded like the words were being pulled from the depths of his soul.

Master and the mentor. That's amazing. I'm sure Stevie learned a lot from him! Wow during this one I literally put my head back and got lost

SRV IS LIFE!
What I love about blues is, it speaks to the soul. modern music doesn't do that.
Good vibes brother.
Stevie was trying to get johnny to sing that verse but he forgot the words. So he just played it.
I do enjoy this song but my favorite has to be leave my girl alone or little wing
Tin Pan Alley is right up Mike Cross's alley

"I've said that playing the blues is like having to be black twice. Stevie Ray Vaughan missed on both counts, but I never noticed." B.B. King.
