    Thanks for taking us along! For me its much harder to turn around then to keep going when its unsafe Good Job making the safe choice. Live to ride/climb another day. We are cheering for ya here in Idaho :)

      Yes, always a tough decision to turn around, but as they say, the mountain isn't going anywhere, it will still be there if I decide to go back :)

    Thanks for sharing! I felt that fustration on my own skin on this past March climbing Pico de Orizaba, now I making arrangement to travel and make second try on November! Never give up!

    Nice video. I could only make it to the start of the glacier as a lack of fitness and oxygen really shut me down. My legs were giving out on the way down. Did you really do the hike solo, aside from having equipment and help from the tour guide in town?

      I planned to do it solo but I met two others along the way and we went together for a ways up the mountains but they were faster than me so I was climbing solo until I had to turn around.
