Hi Kanhay, nice video, quite informative and straight forward. I am myself planning to upgrade, and m confused between street triple s and ninja 650. I know these are different class vehicles, but what i m not sure of is after sales service of these both companies in Inidia. I have heard that the Triumph guys charge unnecessary absurd amounts for servicing. While the Kawaski has a sloppy seevice with spares not availble most of the time. So kinda confused.

Good job bro... but the clutch is hard from a duke 390... cause my duke is of2015 with the slipper clutch and u need it in bigger cc bikes in traffic atleast. So m confused whether to buy street twin or the street triple
nice video bro and congrats for owning one !...... I am thinking of getting this bike but couple of things im not sure of... What are the service intervals and costs? Are there any cheaper alternatives to the stock tyres? Have you had any issues with the ground clearance so far? How much does the bike heat up in chock a block traffic? Thanks in advance for the answers !

This cost of tyres becomes half No issues with ground clearance in the city and while touring. However you have to be careful when a pillion is sitting with you. Driving in traffic is problem free. Bike had not overheated even once till date. I hope I have answered your questions. Let me know if anything else
grt review, i had ninja 650 2017 model, now thinking for this. but i am just 5.3, 650 was perfect fit for me. do you think i will be okay with triple s 's seat height? or can we lower the seat height of it by rear shock adjustment and three clamp front fork adjustment?

Hey dude, I had a question. Like you, (And everyone else I guess) I wanted to upgrade to the Street Triple from a Duke 390. But I'm wondering if I should go for the S or the RS. Is RS worth going for? Or will the S suffice? What're your thoughts on these 2 bikes? I'm sure you'd have faced the same dilemma.
Yeah I have had the chance to ride both the bikes. Unfortunately while buying my bike the RS had not launched, so I didn't really have a choice. However I did ride it a few weeks back. Here is my opinion for both. S: perfect everyday bike and the ideal bike for road use. Very comfortable as compared to the RS. The only thing I miss not having is the TFT screen. RS : Track focused performance machine. Extremely uncomfortable for Day to day use. The only place this bike feels at Home is the track. Suspension too stiff and the 5 riding modes are an overkill. The only thing I liked about this bike is the beautiful TFT screen and the AMAZING M50 brakes. If I was to buy the bike again, I'd still buy the ST3 S but with the TFT and M50 brakes
Thanks for the reply. Whatever you said regarding the bikes make sense. When I was talking about the RS to the dealership, he said the RS gives even a liter class naked a run for its money, and that too at just a 2 lakh increase. But yeah, what're you going to do with all that power in India. heh. Thanks again!
Varun Ramachandran Go for the R - the S lacks the nice electronics and the TFT dash and the RS is overkill for the road and develops its torque higher in the rev range.
Hey, I did consider the Z900 also. The main reason I didn't go for that bike is: 1. In India the cost of Maintainance and spares for a Kawasaki are very high 2. When I test drove both the bikes, I found the Kawasaki way more bulky and big to ride as compared to the triumph. The triple is the closest bike to Duke 390 in terms of agility and ease of riding. 3. Nothing beats the feel of an inline 3. Try both the bikes and you will know what I am talking about. 4. I personally think electronics like Traction are extremely important specially when your bike has the power to wheel spin while leaving corners. Hope this answers your all your doubts
Hi bro. Regarding control, handling and comfort, which one do u think is better? Cbr 650f or st 765s? Do u think it's sensible to buy a bike like this if the showroom and service station is 650kms away,i.e.kolkata?
+Vibhu Vats hey, HANDLING The street triple is way better than the CBR in terms of handling. Comfort: I have done a fair bit of touring in the street triple. It's pretty comfortable and much better than the Duke 390. CBR 650 F also looks damn comfortable, but I can't comment on the touring comfort. But let's say it's a tie. I stay 300km away from the service station. The service interval is 10000km. So it's not much of a problem for me.

(Apart from the front cowl). 3) i noticed you haven't installed any frame sliders or swingarm sliders, any idea where i can get decent ones?not too expensive Cheers and happy riding!

Kanhay thnks for the response. I noticed the registration pasted on the front fender, has that given you any issues with cops? I mean, technicaly it says it should face up and forward. Just a thought.. Appreciate your response.

Great review man! I have one question regarding heat. In Indian forums people complain about high capacity bikes' heat problem. If your riding this beast everyday, how do you manage the heat?
+lipin travolta yes there is a heating issue with most motorcycles. Even I was worried about the same while buying this. However the hear management on this bike is spot on. I have never had a over-the-counter engine in the last 6 months. Flawless.

Those are aftermarket parts. You can get most the accessories that RS has. Infact I'd suggest you get a S and then just add the quick shifter, exhaust bar ends etc
Awesome review Brother. Just wanted to know about maintenance cost per service and how much it cost for set of tiers(Stock type) & (Aftermarket touring type)??
Not possible. Clutch is nice and smooth. It's better if you get a 2way quick shifter (auto blipper) that way you will hardly ever need the clutch unless you are coming to a stop
+Vibhu Vats I don't really miss a slipper clutch. Belly pan and bar end mirrors are available with triumph if interested. Unnecessarily expensive tough

Hello Friend, I have couple of questions- 1. What is the mileage you are getting in the city and highways? I presume that for daily usage at least I should get b/w 22 to 25 kmpl with gentle throttle....What is your take on it...? 2. Are the spare parts too costly....like the regular consumables Brake Pads, Sprocket sets, Air & oil filters etc. I would like to know because I am planning to buy one. Thanks & Best Regard! Samrat
I get 21kmpl if driving around casually in the city, if driving slightly more aggressive then around 19kmpl. And 16kmpl on Highways if doing 130 - 160kmph. Spares are slightly more expensive as compared to a Duke 390 - roughly (30%)
Good review bro I have 2 question Which tyre did you used in the rear and price.Does it make a lot difference in high speeds compared to the stock ones. Other than pirelli which tyres are good for the street triple.
I am using a Michelin Road 4 . It's a touring tyre with bi compound rubber. So it's not as good as a track tyre but the life is longer. You just have to choose between which aspect matters to you the most
Kanhay Athalye I had a Street Twin but have exchanged it for the StrTrpl S... The Twin was a good machine but at 198kgs a bit heavy on my wrists and the seat was actual pain in the butt. Can't ride it continuous for an hour
+Vibhu Vats RC390 also has great handling and is amazing in the curves. ST3 is has awesome handling overall. Much easier to ride in the city, leaning is fun and as agile in traffic as a Duke 390.
Hi.. Thanks for posting the review.. How good or bad is the ground clearance? What has been ur experience in various types of road, both solo & with pillion? Please do let me know. Thanks 😊
+Sumit Dutta ground clearance is pretty decent when riding alone. To be honest I just ride it like a Duke 390 both on road and offroad. If you are going to jump, I'd suggest you adjust the rear suspension accordingly. You have to be careful while riding with a pillion both onroad and offroad.
Kanhay Athalye what is the exact ground clearance? I'm someone who would buy this bike for everyday use and pillion touring.. Have been to Ladakh thrice, Spiti once, Kanyakumari twice from Pune.. So was thinking how much the ground clearance would be a problem, or is it manageable after adjustments to the rear suspension!
+Sumit Dutta it's very manageable when riding alone. If you ride with a pilion, you will have to be careful on speed breakers and on bad roads. You can check the brochure or some other review for exact GC in mm. In terms of practicality I think it's fine.
I need to use the bike everyday, that's my primary mode of transportation, thus service cost & spare cost were much important to me. Also I loved the feel of a triple engine as compared to a 4 cylinder, I plan to keep the bike with me for 3 years or more, comfort was also important for a 200km run & top speed was not an issue, I wanted something fun & scary so all these factors were considered. But I would definitely buy the z800, if I had a car/bike to use everyday and if I only had to use it on the weekends & if spare cost didn't matter to me
Hi, M planing to buy street triple s, i liked z900, m upgrading from duke 390 2018 model, i really dont want to sell duke 390 but if m upgrading i have to sell as there us no meaning to keep two street fighters, I am asking you is it really worth to buy this bike . Is it worth spending 10L
I'm not into serious motorcycling and my brother is serious biker and he often ride liter class .he is good at it.he is going to buy street triple s .I'm worried can i handle the power. 🤔 Riden Duke 390 couple of times .
Dude... Do NOT GO FOR A SUPERBIKE AS YOUR FIRST MOTORCYCLE. These motorcycles are not at all forgiving. My suggestion would be you try your hand on a Duke 250 for a few months / a year till you get this mortorcycle. However if you do get the street, do not go full throttle at least till you have ridden it for 3-4000km. Just a tip bro, cheers!
@@Kanhay i have this bike in mind but this bike is costing 11.30 to 11.50 on road hyderabad and z900 is coming for 10 lakhs but most of them are getting used bikes but do you think its worth 11.5 lakhs ??
@@sidharthchepyala3718 been using it for 2 years now. I bought the ST3 for 10.20 & even then it was a lakh more than the Z900. The main reason I avoided the Kawasaki is because all spares have to be imported and are damn expensive. A friend of mine cracked both rims on the ninja650 and ended up paying 57K to replace them. Cluth cable was for 7K n stuff. However I am sure both bikes are equally good. Like I said , if you are buying for a long term use get the Triumph , it has more character, feels very premium & is much more exquisite. If you plan to sell or replace in a year or two get a Japanese. It's much more easy to sell a japanese bike, after market kits are easily available & they are crazy smooth.

I get 21kmpl if driving around casually in the city, if driving slightly more aggressive then around 19kmpl. And 16kmpl on Highways if doing 130 - 160kmph.
Spares are slightly more expensive as compared to a Duke 390 - roughly (30%)
Good review bro
I have 2 question
Which tyre did you used in the rear and price.Does it make a lot difference in high speeds compared to the stock ones.
Other than pirelli which tyres are good for the street triple.
I am using a Michelin Road 4 . It's a touring tyre with bi compound rubber. So it's not as good as a track tyre but the life is longer. You just have to choose between which aspect matters to you the most
Awesome review.... Had a query... Is it good for touring?
Very comfortable for upto 400km in a day.... Will be stressful after 700km a day
Kanhay Athalye I had a Street Twin but have exchanged it for the StrTrpl S... The Twin was a good machine but at 198kgs a bit heavy on my wrists and the seat was actual pain in the butt. Can't ride it continuous for an hour
I haven't ridden that bike, so I can't really relate to it, but the ST3 light weight is definitely a big big advantage
Sir, can we compare handling of this beauty with rc390?
+Vibhu Vats RC390 also has great handling and is amazing in the curves.
ST3 is has awesome handling overall. Much easier to ride in the city, leaning is fun and as agile in traffic as a Duke 390.
Lol most big bikes have a puny horn...Might work in Europe in USA but definitely not in Bharat mahaan...good review..
What made you to choose 765 over z900
I need to use the bike everyday, that's my primary mode of transportation, thus service cost & spare cost were much important to me. Also I loved the feel of a triple engine as compared to a 4 cylinder, I plan to keep the bike with me for 3 years or more, comfort was also important for a 200km run & top speed was not an issue, I wanted something fun & scary so all these factors were considered.
But I would definitely buy the z800, if I had a car/bike to use everyday and if I only had to use it on the weekends & if spare cost didn't matter to me
Hi,
M planing to buy street triple s, i liked z900, m upgrading from duke 390 2018 model, i really dont want to sell duke 390 but if m upgrading i have to sell as there us no meaning to keep two street fighters,
I am asking you is it really worth to buy this bike . Is it worth spending 10L
@@Kanhay thanks for the reply... it very heplful.
I'm not into serious motorcycling and my brother is serious biker and he often ride liter class .he is good at it.he is going to buy street triple s .I'm worried can i handle the power. 🤔 Riden Duke 390 couple of times .
Sure you can. In my opinion it's the easiest superbike to ride.
@@Kanhay this would be my 1st motorcycle .ho my goodness 😄.i mentioned earlier i don't have experience . thank you so much man 😙
Thank you so much man 😙. great to see your TH-cam video .full support, Cheers man
How far u had done on a single day with pillion , and does ur wrist hurt
I have done around 600km with a pillion. Yes it's a little stressful with all the weight on your back. But a short 200km ride is fine
Let's hope its a girl bwahahahahaha. Dank bruh :P
Hi, how has the service experience and service costs been till now
7-8K per service - one day delivery - very good service
How about the ground clearance
Decent for a single person.
4:43 👌🏻
bro what is the cost of clutch kit and chain kit and can you conpare it with z900
No clue bro. Haven't changed one yet.
@@Kanhay do u dont use it everyday in city traffic and how is your experience with triumph service
@@sidharthchepyala3718 I use it everyday, it's my only mode of transport. Triumph service has been excellent. In my opinion it's the best everyday superbike.
Dont u think abt installing frame slider?
+Vibhu Vats I have, but currently I have a zero dep insurance. Thus not a priority
Kanhay Athalye wow!
"...No way going to break down into pieces like a Royal Enfield when riding" HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA I feel the same... But the RE trolls are going to come at you in the comments.
I slaughter RE fanboys for breakfast !
Tyre and servicing cost?
10-15K tyre
7K service
How is Kawasaki z750 compared to street triple
I don't think Kawasaki sells this motorcycle in India, so I can't comment. Also I am not aware of this motorcycle being in production anywhere in the world.
How about ground clearance?
Decent ground clearance. You have to be little careful when riding with a pillion
How about pillion comfort?
6/10. Not great for touring. Decent comfort for city use
