  • This is a prototype 6 degree of freedom flight simulator motion platform. The software driver is written in C# and can extract acceleration data from FSX, FS2004 and X-Plane. The driver includes configuration tools for washout, sample rate, charting, logging and visualisation. The hardware is controlled via a Phidgets 8-servo USB controller.

why wud someone reply to daft comments this is obviously a test rig for checking out the motion platform honestly like if you dont like something then let it be or ask a decent relative question. any feedback or motion from a motionless joystick has gotta be an advantage keep up the good work im only on 2dof on my 1st project using arduino boards atm respect dude

    Hi,
You did a good work on this 6 DOF.
I intend to do on my MSc thesis a ¨6 DOF system using Fuzzy controler, during the video there is a windows where we can see a simple 3D cockpit drawing and the lines that shows the accelerations would you share this 3D visualization tool?
    Thanks in advance,
    Carlos

im just guessing, but i dont think he is getting feedback. the controller sends a PWM duty to the servo that tells it to go to X degrees. it is just assumed that the servo makes this position happen.

it results in hopping around in front a tft in a well lighted room.
no illusion of flying at all.
did you ever wonder why thy use projectors, a very (!) special screen and a closed cockpit cabin, ALL (!) moving together and you in the middle?
    what a toy this is...
