I was returning to Vegas from tour & saw the sign at The Hard Rock had noted his death that day. I pulled in & went to bar, ordered a brandy with coke, wrote "R.I.P. John" on top & left it there. I spent a long night in Anaheim at the NAAM show in 93 in the hotel bar with John, my hero. Very generous man. Woke up the next afternoon with several crumpled bills in my pocket, change from the previous night. John had sent me to the bar with a $20 bill several times and orders of "Get me a Brandy & Coke, whatever you want, tip the bartender & keep the change." Magic.
I remember this day. I was severely depressed that day. My father and i went to go see Scooby-Doo 2 in the local Cinema to cheer myself up... on the way to the cinema, we listened to The Who.
I saw it on the ticker for HEADLINE NEWS...totally flabbergasted! I screamed "WHAT?????" and the rest of the night was in shock...then my shock turned to anger having missed my last chance to see 'em with John in 2000...then sadness and concern for Who's left. I saw my first show that year at the Garden. Robert Plant opened. It would take another 6 years before my dream of meeting Roger would come true. And 13 before I'd meet Petey.
I know who they were. I was with John when he passed. I'm that woman. The truth has been out there for years and is right under your nose. Find me and you'll find it.
@SarahAlyssa oh dear little child, you're just trolling along with your hate, ignorance and absolute slander. Take your basic self home and stay there...ain't nobody dealing with your insanity. Byeeeee...
They seemed to be forgetting one thing- the heart attack was caused by a cocaine overdose. I was angry after that because it was such a useless death. You don't do coke when you're 57 effin years old. We all missed out a lot more that could've come.
It was never mentioned if it was an overdose, I personally think his body just gave up. More than 30 years doing boze, coke and other stuff, by 2002 John already had heart problems, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, his last day was probably a normal day in his life where he smoked a pack, got some booze and snort some coke, and his body just gave up you know.
I didn’t find out until 10 years after his death that there was cocaine and a lady-friend with him in his hotel that night. Media sucks but it doesn’t matter cause I still love Entwistle no matter how he died.

I didn't see The Who with Keith Moon but I did see them with The Ox. R.I.P. 🥨
Thanks for sharing, never saw this
I was in a taxi in Vegas , June 2002 , passed by the Hard Rock , saw the sign . What?! Woa
My dad was at the hotel like two weeks before it happened
This was so sad. It was 7 months since George Harrison died and then this
And they were both said to be the quiet member of each band. RIP George Harrison and John Entwistle.
John Entwistle outlived both John Lennon and George Harrison.
@@keenanmiller6634 George was 58 and John was 57
@@ethantaube2512 Right. I meant by years and months rather than age.
I know, right?
Who were the officers and agents assigned to this case?

It’s right under your nose so you murdered him okay…

@SarahAlyssa that's absolute slander and lies. Why do you need to hate so much? Don't hate me for your self loathing.
I was shocked when I heard he died and was pissed on how he died.

He slept with a hooker too
He didn't overdose. His heart gave out, after years of heart disease, and cocaine use.

As Pete said, "the corner report showed he shouldn't been there, but that's what he chose to do."
