I always felt lighter in the head and recieved much benefit from your advices, Muto. You are great when it comes to explainig these stuff and helping others and me who also wants to become an aspiring mangaka. Please keep it up!
At the end of the day, I mostly realize that I don't have any audience. I mean posting working hard on your screentones and all that and then posting it on social media is one thing. But grabbing only a book and pencil is another thing... Cause we don't have anyone to show aur manga .. I hope you are able to understand what I mean to say..
Hello, I'm currently working on my own manga. I've already posted the first chapter, titled 'SIREN,' which consists of 9 pages. I might be mistaken, but breaking a 'oneshot' manga, typically around 60 pages in professional works, into smaller chapters can help you get better accustomed to meeting deadlines. I will try to prove my point by doing my next chapters.
Funny how I accidentally did this as a beginner, I kept remaiking and remaking the same story of 20 pages aboutt 5 times, then I did small 5 to 10 page stories to amuse my friends, and will you look at that, I am trying to make a 100 page story in 6 months
I get your points, however. I'm still a beginner artist, meaning I get attached to my creations - the characters. I'm not going to say goodbye to them and just start new ones. My life right now is for just one story and I don't care if it "makes it big" I simply cannot say goodbye to my characters.
In that case why not make one more oneshot ? By making one shots you improve your skills in many ways, not just writing characters, you improve your art, storytelling, paneling, pacing, everything that makes your manga good. Writing characters is important and it is totally a skill one needs to practice, but that does not mean that you must discard each of them after one story. Make a second story about them, or a new one about another character but intertwine those stories, or maybe make them appear as a nod to your previous works. It can even benefit your writing, since you can focus more on other aspects of your story, and not establishing new protagonist. And you may feel generally more motivated to write.
Yk I come from India... So there's nothing that big of hype like other countries.. For watching anime and and reading manga is great, but like Japan, India doesn't try to publish manga at all..
I would really appreciate a video about 'taking the first small step'. And please tell something about the future of animation if possible, Because after watching at all this AI stuff....It really feels a shame. I mean why are the creators of this destroying the passion and life of all the animators out there...
What happens if you have a really long story and it is going to be great so what about it ....... and also can you make a video of how to make a good Manga page please 😁😁
Hello. Can you suggest me the best tablet for making manga in digital. I'm planning to make my own manga, I have almost everything I need, I don't know how I'm good at art but I graduated as a fine art student. I'm actually a painter, but I think i can draw some manga using my skills in paintings, I also have the story from start to end. I have a list of characters. I also read a lot of manga, and also read some novels similar to my story, and searched for some writing, how to introduce characters, how to make plot twists, how to see your own plot holes, I searched a lot and it takes me almost a year. Now all I need is to start, and I don't know how to draw digitally. 😅 I wanna talk to an artist, specifically a manga artist like you. If you have any IG or FB can you give me so I can talk to you when you have some free time. Thank you.

Then try to make a one shots with new characters that you aren’t attached to
Impossible! XD (Good point!)
In that case why not make one more oneshot ?

Practice first with one shots and then you can make your story
Another banger
🙏🙏 new bangers coming soon 🤝💪
