I've been reading a lot of comments on the disappointment in Sindel's character change from hero to villain. I was more upset by the fact that she turned heel(villain) and this is the best she's ever looked in physical appearance. Beautiful figure, nice flowing hair, gentle grace in her speech, flare in her walk, nice dress, they even add a flower for goodness sake. As compared to her normal wild hair, devil makeup, and outfits of terror, in intent and distasteful fashion. They did this s**t backwards if you ask me.

You have to admit Sindel, evil as she is, seems to be a supportive and loving wife to Shao Khan. He just has to make sure he never becomes weak or pathetic.
Yes, I know, some people say that she's only with him because she wants more power and because he's powerful. But let's not forget that in the MK11 storyline, she saved and healed him when he lost his khan status, lost an arena fight, was blinded by Kitana, and almost got killed by the guards in prison. He had no power, but she still cared for him.
I've been reading a lot of comments on the disappointment in Sindel's character change from hero to villain. I was more upset by the fact that she turned heel(villain) and this is the best she's ever looked in physical appearance. Beautiful figure, nice flowing hair, gentle grace in her speech, flare in her walk, nice dress, they even add a flower for goodness sake. As compared to her normal wild hair, devil makeup, and outfits of terror, in intent and distasteful fashion. They did this s**t backwards if you ask me.

100% agreed. Sindel is likely the best designed character visually in MK11 and the best she's ever looked and less evil then she's ever looked yet she is now actually evil. Stupid. Can't stand that they ruined her character.

I'm actually surprised how well they mesh. I dislike them greatly, their intentions and attitude make me want to retch my very soul from my body, yet just like the monk bros, ninja homies, and the PPC (Paradox Parent & Child), their teamwork is on point and both exude an undeniable trust to one another, as real equals.

Sindel's retconned character has that "fire" Shao Kahn craves. While Shao Kahn has unsurprisingly stayed the same with an insatiable lust for conquest that retconned Sindel swoons for.
One amusing way to mess this up is to bring Skarlet into the equation to get that cliché love triangle happening.
How would Shao Kahn react? Who would win the fight to the death to be Shao Kahn's queen? WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY?!?!

Im genuinely curious as to why people hate this retcon? Sindel and Shao being this good has never happened in MK despite how hyped up they are by everyone else as the worst of the worst. Shao Kahn and Sindel fell off the rails in Aftermath they seemed like major contenders but then proved to be jobber status. I mean I cannot believe they expected Shang Tsung to uphold his end of the deal. Considering how they they fucked him over in MK9 and not too mention the centuries they have known him to be a snake. They really should have seen that coming, seriously why did they wait until AFTER he had the crown to try and take the mantle.

They may have also expected to kill Kronika first and deal with Shang Tsung later.
