Yeah! I did a little walking around, a little venting and a last look at Winterfest. We'll definitely have more fun in the future on this channel. I'm not going anywhere. No corporate will end this fun train lol
Loved the "I'm so freaking cold sweater!" That's me everyday! Lol, Thanks for the video today, last time I was there was 2023 for the 4th of July fireworks but the park was so packed so we watched the show from out back, great view of the fireworks. Favorite ride years ago was the stand up roller coaster. I wish I could have made it to winterfest. Thanks again for the tour. If I have more ideas for you this year, I'll let you know.👍☃️

I`m sorry that this had to happen, FC is the same size by property wise (109 acres) and it too is a major family theme park. It`s gonna be sad whenever CGA closes. Just think, Astroworld down in Houston (4th largest city) only had a month to say goodbye to their beloved park. And Bell`s in Tulsa did the exact same thing, both parks closed in 2005. At least you guys are getting a year or two to say goodbye if that is what I`m understanding.
Not sure what happened to the 9:30 show time, I think they forgot to put it up because there was definitely a 9:30 show. This lighter night of crowds looked more than the Xmas Eve Holiday in the Park crowds. Definitely been even busier than what you saw :)

It sucks, because I use the events as an excuse to take a train ride up there and use my Knotts Prestige Pass a few times a year. I never did the haunt there, but I did Tricks and Treats the last 2 years. Sadly, my Halloween and Christmas trips up their fell thru and I didn't get to go to them this year...and then the news they are not doing them this year now... Still haven't heard anything about the rumored talks of moving Discovery Kingdom to Fresno. There was a big buzz, stories on the news about the mayor showing then Six Flags company 2 very large plots of land available as well as a few other "investor groups". Haven't heard anything at all in about a year now, since then...

Happy New Year! I'm not trying to sound like a Swiftie, but it's an end of an era. Winterfest was good to many people and sadly it's come to an end. I hope visitors focus on being present and capturing the moment one last time. I hope you get tons of emails cus them sweater are lit.
I love ya man, and yeah the 2025 news isn't great, but you are spreading wrong details about some of the gloom and doom: They didn't say events are gone forever; the announcement only talked about 2025. And they are open for 7 months next year, not just 5 or 6.

I went with the family on Saturday the 28th. It was PACKED and the entire time I was wondering how the heck they could think about closing this place.
Unfortunately, the owners of the property want them gone now because they're not fans of the six flags merger. At least that's what I'm gathering...
