Losing Holiday was big but so was Allen. Although he made a bad move running out the clock in the playoffs last year, He was a good 3pt shooter with some perimeter defense. Something Beasley could not replicate

The Bucks seasonal failures have been way too public. Trading for old stars that have never won a championship but still at top dollar has been a continued mistake. Harden, Dame, Westbrook, CP3 in the last several years have brought no hardware to their teams

So stupid trading Holiday. It was obvious he was gonna go to a contender, so they might as well have traded him to the Celtics. They gave an extremely valuable piece to a rival and contender. Its cool though. As a Celtic fan, i thank them. We appreciate it.

I haven’t heard anyone say what really happened to the bucks.. greek freak flexed his muscle in the “player empowerment” area after they lost in the 1st round to a scrappy heat team totally ignoring they dealt with injuries the entire season, mainly he and middleton. He mentioned he may wanna leave so the organization panicked and fire coach bud who led them to a title only a couple years ago then traded holiday to bring in more scoring and star power with dame. I love dame but he’s never been the defensive player that holiday has been not to mention holiday could give you 20+ any given night along with guarding 3 or 4 different positions. These GMs have to stop folding to these star players demands and they may be able to put together a good roster
I agree trading Dru was a huge mistake. But everyone is blaming GA, and I think he was ok with it but not the driving force. Some one else is pulling strings above GA, owner or GM
I agree, but im sure they brought the trade to him before pulling the trigger. If the man can keep his brother on the team than im sure he could have stopped that trade from happening, atleast 1 more year to try fully healthy

their defence sucks - giannis is good but lopez has regressed and they lost jrue and tucker. lillard and beasley as backcourt starters is horrid defensively. dame has regressed too. whether the 7 seed is the pacers, sixers or heat (esp since embiid returned) i see them losing in 6 to any one of them. if they do manage to win, theyre not making it out the 2nd round.

What I never hear on these sports media are the individual performances of Brook Lopez, Jae Crowder, Pat Connaughton and Malik Beasley. Giannis had a bad game last night but still got 21 pts, 8 assists, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks.
The rest of the Bucks' role players other than Bobby Portis just suck, rarely step up when needed, are lazy on defense (Lopez especially) and can inconsistently contribute offensively. Plus Beasley has been shooting bricks since the ASG. This team as it stands in not built to go far in the post-season unless seriously changes happen to the starting five and bench.
Expectations should never be on one player, giannis is great but there's a lot of greatness in the nba. Can't win just because of Giannis "leadership".

The Bucks were pretty much in synch for the first half of the season. They were winning. It’s the whole reason they’re still second right now and not fighting for a play-in game spot under Doc. With Griffin, they would’ve been even better right now.

I think you hit on something here. Im watching these games and comparing to the last few years. I love Brooke but watch him play D, he is worse than a cone. Last night prime example, they were outscored in the paint by 30 points, He is not the same guy who won 2 defensive player of the year, and leading the league in blocks. Those days are done. GA like you pointed out, has lost something on D. Even Bobby who is playing well on offense is not the same guy he was 3 years ago.

They've won some games, but overall, the acquisition of Damian Lillard, has been a disaster for Milwaukee, and so has the Adrian Griffin firing/Doc Rivers hiring. The Bucks will be fine they still have Giannis and Dame, playoff Middleton and defensive center Lopez. They will make it to the finals. The biggest mistake the Bucks made was firing Budenholzer. They had get rid of Holiday because he’s overrated and underperforms in the playoffs. The Suns have a better chance making it to the playoffs than the Lakers
