The beauty of the warriors record is you have to subtract 25 games bcuz our younger guys was trying to learn the system without our engine Draymond.

At the most golden state is a team that will give the elite teams a run for their money in a playoff series. They’re not beating any of them though just don’t have the consistency and size and this is a warriors fans keeping it real.

warriors may be the 10th seed but in reality without all the draymond drama earlier in the season which cause us to lose multiple close games and blow hella leads in the 4h, they should be a top 5 team in seeding rn

If Draymond doesn't get suspended, Kuminga stays on the bench and doesn't get his opportunity. They would still be in the same position. Klay was still going to struggle early. Looney and Saric were still going to get playing time. The team is still in the lower half of the conference regardless.

Trayce Jackson-Davis completely changed the team. Having a vertical threat opens up the floor even more. 2 really good screeners with Dray / TJD. And, he's an above average defender close to basket.
as a warriors fan, i dont see how we can go to the finals.... if the champs didnt loose key core pieces, they should be clearly the favorite for the finals. its not like the lebron lakers bubble title, a team that just buy stars just for one run. same thing in the NFL. another LA team. the rams just went all in, knowing they will be bad the next years. the nuggets built this team a bit like the warriors. from the ground to top. plus the warriors had some embarrassing collapsing losses against the nuggets this season. i will bet on the nuggets. doesnt mean they win the title but they should be back to the finals.

We need to see the warriors newer supporting cast in a playoff atmosphere first before declaring them scary. It always seems like a lot of players numbers go down during that time
The warriors shot 59% from the field and 63% from three in their latest game. At the end of the day, they’re still undersized. They don’t necessarily need to shoot quite that well to win, but they’re not sustaining those numbers over a seven game series.
how many championships has Golden State won being undersized? How many championships have they won shooting that well in a series? It's not like they haven't done these things before. It's more than possible
They’re prolly arguably bigger than they’ve ever been. Don’t think size is much of a problem. They’re the best offensive rebounding team in the league as well

The Western Conference has five playoff/playin teams that are better than they were in 2022; the Nuggets, Timberwolves, Thunder, Pelicans, and Kings. Size is relative to the competition. The Warriors’ tallest guy, Dario Šarić, plays more like a shooting guard than a forward. Kevon Looney and Andrew Wiggins haven’t shown the ability to play like championship level role players for more than about a week in 2024. If they make the playoffs, if those two can turn it on in late April and May, I might have a sliver of hope.
@@catharticwicks they didn't have multiple 7 footers in 2017 and 2018. Biggest player they had was Javale and he came off the bench.They still found ways to be competitive on the boards. The Timberwolves have to prove they are better in the playoffs. They have played like a stupid team in the playoffs the last two seasons. The Pelicans can be good but they need to show it in the playoffs, as well. The Kings aren't as polished this year as last year. And the Thunder gotta show the lights aren't too bright for them in their first real playoff opportunity AND as a potential favorite

If I was Giannis, I would call KD. I would ask how his calf injury felt to see if his feeling is similar. Every human body is different but it is good to get a template of how it could feel.
This was all by design we planned to coast through the regular season. All of our stars got significant time off. We are playing the toughest game and series in the beginning or first round. After that is all downhill and every subsequent series will just get easier. Genius!

Really depends on who they play in the play-in and then the first round if they make it out. If they play a healthy Lakers squad, I don't love their chances- AD basically hard counters their offense. Assuming they make it out as the 8th seed, they have chances against Wolves or Thunder but not Denver.

The NBA has had a hard time making the regular season matter & the Play-In helps, also it gets a lot of ratings. I completely understand where you’re coming from as you feel spots should be earned in the regular season, we’ll get back the old issues if we go back to the old format too though.

I've been saying this, Wiggs and Klay is very pivotal. They could've have a better record if they didn't struggle in the early part of the season. If those 2 are balling, Klay is dropping 20 a game and Wiggs dropping 17 a game with his elite defense, Warriors can beat anybody.
Warriors might matchup better against the Nuggets than OKC or MIN. Denver has some perimeter defenders that can bother Steph, but the other two have more of it.
