Mike talked about him in an interview recently. He said he watched some clips and they do a fantastic job! The interviewer said that some fans would have wanted him as the singer and Mike answered "I know, but for me, or for us, having someone who sounds so close to Chester, that would be creepy!" and i loved that answer, because they weren't just bandmates, they were really close friends too!
Sad thing is that people shittin on Emily for trying replace Chester while she is being herself like she was for the last 20 years, and the same people praising this guy who is actually trying to mimic Chester but in reality buchers it mostly in a big picture. Poor mans Chester. Nothing against him, he sings great, band played awesome they are actually band that need to do their own stuff, not real new LP as some people cry. As for scream, it was not a scream, it was just air, also Chester was only able to do it live like this, but when he used real scream with his voice even he could not do it whole in a live show.
@@GizmoMcs Read what I wrote, not shitting on him, I said I think he sings great but I am more frustrated that same people who hate Emily are praising Ivo yet Emily is herself and Ivo is literally copying Chester and in my opinion he sound like a poor man Chester. That's my opinion and it does really matter. My point is, they should use their talent for their own material, not rely on someone else's now that LP is back. I hope you get it.
@@smeagol80 this is what made it possible for them to do what they love, they had their own stuff and they were close to be forced to quit music (not like there's big support in their country for rock bands), they tried this for fun and people loved it and made them able to keep playin music. also they more like a tribute to chester, and chester isn't back. both can exist at the same time.

This Band is a Tribute Band to Linkin Park, and Hybrid Theory fans are of course fans of Linkin Park. I really do not understand why you think that people who criticise Emily, are fans or supporters of Hybrid Theory Tribute. They are not! There are two diferent eras of Linkin Park: One before Chester's dead and another with Emily from Zero. I Have to remind you that between 2017 and 2024 there was not Linkin Park any more, but their legacy, their music. During those 7 years, Hybrid Theory Tribute Band performed Linkin Park music around the World. They performed in Portugal, Estónia, Poland, Hungary, Lituânia, Letónia, England, Germany, France, Brasil, Índia, China, Austrália, New zealand. Their performances kept the Linkin Park music and Chester Bennington memory alive. All the Hybrid Theory Guys are Linkin Park fans and they want to keep Chester's memory Alive. I am sure that you will not see Hybrid Theory playing the new Linkin Park Songs, because those songs are done to Emily voice and performance.
