Going to the planet in the nebula, and the source of the force and all medi chlorians, was a great touch, and kind of poetic, because that’s what George would have explored in one of his sequel trilogy ideas.
Absolutely. Han has to have Jefi reflexes and be force sensitive. I've thought that since episode one. Han is the 1st person in Star Wars afterall to say the iconic line"I have a baad feeling about this"- I think. Am I wrong?
@@culturesend1704 Han also is immortality sensitive. He gets the point Boba is no clone but the others, including Han himself, are. Boba and Han could heve killed each other all too often, they just celebrete their private secret.
@Carterb92 it's true skill to be sure, but the abilities and reflexes he exhibits are the type that only Jedi or force sensitive posses. I HATE to even mention the sequels, but the best example of this is when he is able to use light speed to beat a shield. Completely ignoring the actual mechanics, and physics involved in such a maneuver, obviously. And I can't imagine anyone forgets the piloting skills of Vader. Obi-Wan literally calls him the best Star pilot in the Galaxy, at the time of their first meeting.
@Carterb92 I pray that NEVER happens because the Star Wars would truly be dead to me. And I get what you mean about the OT vs. the prequels. In ep4 Vader does almost single handedly take out the red and gold squadrons but that's really the only time in the OT we see his skill as a fighter.
When Anakin stood and hugged his children, I ACTUALLY teared up. I would pay any sum of money to see this on the big screen. Incredible story treatment my man. Good job!
It's nice to see Anakin being given the same treatment as Revan. Light Side as a Jedi to the Dark Side as a Sith. Dark Side as a Sith returning to the Light Side as a Jedi. Light Side as a Jedi to now becoming something more.
Good one. I’ve got a what-if idea: what if Anakin decided to stay on mortas after the daughter gave her life to save Ahsoka, designating Ahsoka to be his proxy in the known galaxy.
I think I know how the Rebels would justify Darth Vader surviving. From their point of view, he didn't. They would say that Anakin Skywalker had been a prisoner of Vader and the Emperor for decades and tortured. That's technically true from a certain point of view. The Rebels could announce that Anakin was kept alive to be used as leverage against his children. Then when Luke was captured, Anakin was dragged out in front of him. Anakin wasn't broken though and helped Luke beat Vader and the Emperor, which again, is technically true. That way Anakin could live in peace since no one knew he was Vader anyways. Mon Martha and Akbar wouldn't be thrilled. Leia probably would have a hard time seeing Anakin and Han would just spit in his face, but kept it secret for Leia and Luke's peace of mind. It could work.
While it is not talked about much in the lore Vader was frustrated with how faulty his suit was, and requested to do his own repairs on his suit. Which the Emperor allowed. In my own head cannon I imagine the Emperor keep access to certain technology away from Vader.
This is by far the most wholesome and the happiest theory i've ever seen. It is quite logical and well structured, so i never lost the atmosphere during the video. It made me really happy. Thank you very much for this! Keep going, I genuinely think you're the best Star Wars theorist ever!
Well done with bringing Mara Jade in, but more props for addressing the existence of Abeloth. I expected Padme to "be with" Anakin, though not in corporeal form. I expected her to be a ghost in the nebula that Anakin would interact with. So, good redirection and unique approach. I actually want more detail about Padme's appearance. Is it her as in life? Her consciousness in Abeloth's body? You left enough at the end for later expansion (good writing on your part). So, ultimately, thanks for a great and entertaining video as I worked legs.
This made me happy, I felt every emotion Anakin did. I think that’s just because I spend so much time with the character of Vader. I understand almost everything about how he thinks, and somehow you replicated that perfectly. You made me see Anakin as he was during the clone wars and it made me nostalgic, the way this writing just feels so perfect and wholesome is amazing. This fan fic is better than the sequels as a whole. I like this.
And while I wouldn’t replace it for the originals, this still left me all kinds of for-filled. It made me realize how Anakin must have felt when he moved on into the afterlife. It sort of makes me feel how Anakin must have felt when he passed on. This just gave me a whole new understanding of vader, and allowed me to resolve Vader’s story in my head.
While this is absolutely amazing and extremely well thought out! I do have one thing I’d like to say. In my opinion I think it would’ve taken a little while longer than here for her to finally warm up to Anakin, this is shown for example whenever in the comics she wasn’t accepting at first even though she knew Anakin was redeemed. Leia was very much her fathers daughter and this would also translate into her personality as well, she found it much harder to look past all the stuff he did as Vader and I wouldn’t say she’s necessarily less forgiving than Luke, but she very much isn’t as instantaneously trusting as Luke can be. However eventually though I do think she would fully learn to forgive her father and really get to know and understand the real Anakin. I just think it would be a bit of a slower process.

I agree with this. I was thinking about it as I was watching the video. Anakin appeared to Leia as a force ghost on Endor in Legends begging her to forgive him, but it would actually take years for her to forgive him. After the death of everyone she held dear on Alderaan, and the complete obliteration of the planet, Leia originally just wasn't ready to forgive Anakin yet. Years later, Leia learned about Anakin's past and did come to forgive him and named her third child after him. Either way, super sweet story. 😊
What if the clone didn’t have increased rate of aging. What might happen if the republic couldn’t get them as quickly. How would it change the republic strategy. Would the clones become like a special forces? Just an idea.
That was such a great story. Anakin is my favorite character in all of Star Wars and his turn to the dark side was cool, but mostly sad. He just wanted to live a good life and instead he's been a slave his whole life. He turned back to the light and is reunited with his family. I love redemption stories like this. The new Grey Jedi Order or the Order of Skywalker is really cool and definitely an order I could join. Thank you for writing such an amazing heartwarming story.

I always imagined Anakin's quest for immortality would have led him to the ghost of Exar Kun. He was always curious for answers, what more could he find the answer rather than the tomb of the most powerful sith ever who was truly immortal. That would have been the greatest battle ever.
Knowing anakins love for padme and his excitement for being a father. This is gonna be my own personal headcanon just because the image of anakin being with his family brings me a deep seated joy

This was absolutely heartwarming and beautiful. The background music was plucking at my heart strings the entire time when accompanied with the wonderful story you told.
Critique: Beautiful. Though there are some things that can be seen as a honest misunderstanding or misinterpretation, the video is good enough to not dwell on it for too long. Despite my gripe, I loved this video.
I do know I’m late, but we all know how Anakin got turned by Palpatine, but but what if he had the skill to turn not only Anakin; but also Obi-Wan, DURING the fight (It would require a lot of previous small persuasion to Obi, but it could be done with enough plot)
A parsec isn't a unit of speed... it is distance. "Making the Kessel run in 12 parsecs" makes no sense unless you went off course and cheated. Seems any ship could be manipulated to list lazily to the left.
I don't even know what to say anymore. Pente, you keep getting better and better. You bring out the deeper humanistic side of these characters in these stories. On your Darker ones you do that too, but it's the more brutal humanistic side as well. I'm not sure what to say as you continue to grow with every story. I hope you plan on doing a Part 2 to What if Mother Talzin Raised Anakin Skywalker. I think that story has more mileage in it.
bringing the wills in was genius taking it almost in the direction lucas himself thought about but doing it in your own unique way, again if my first comment wasn't clear, i loved this story
Luke turns away from a stuffy nosed Vader to talk into his comm unit "Need some help on the Death Star, pick me ... ZHIZZZ..." - Luke suddenly sees a red saber's blade emerging from his abdomen, followed by Vader's voice behind him "You fool..."
Would Annie as a spy work? He never falls just pretends to. As he's carrying out Palpatine's orders he uses the Force to warn fellow Jedi to be wary of their clone soldiers. While some still die the majority of the Order is able to escape with their lives thanks to the tuggings in the Force they got from the Chosen One. The Younglings Annie killed personally would also survive. Instead of activating his saber to kill them he cuts a hole into the floor or something allowing them to escape.
I imagine that Anakin would ditch his current cybernetics for the latest models among other things; the respirator he was fitted with was obsolete from the start.
i cried when Vader died! i didn't know why at the time but i have empathy and when a sons father has died i will cry for their loss! this isn't something we should feel shame! we got to feel for our own people! and if you are human....Humanity is your people!

Could you do what if palpatine turned good in return of the Jedi and went on trial for his crimes and admitted to the galaxy that he was the puppet master of the clone wars and that he created the empire so they could repel the yuuzhan vong invasion obviously he would be executed but it would be cool to see
This was so wholesome. My god the whole segment with Anakin having a safe space with building was stunning and made it seem so real but also surreal at the same time. I wonder what George Lucas would think on this take. I would love an animated series or regular TV series of an alternate route in canon like this. You could throw in some legends canon to really make the show turn into something incredible.

The Fourth One would be easy: If Tup's chiip never activated, Fives would he never found out about Order 66 which does affect how the events on the Venator happened as now Rex, Fives and Jesse would execute with no hesitation whatsoever. From that point forward, is basically wht if Rex killed Ahsoka but with Fives as well

In the D20 RPG SW games, when the 2nd Death Star blew up, his severed hand/glove got transported to another planet(not Endor) by a wormhole created by the hypermatter core's explosion. If Anakin's really intent on resurrecting Padme, he can create her clone&then do a spirit transfer by flow walking back to when she died. This was done to Bastilla Shan inside the Rakatan's Star Forge. It's a Rakatan Dark Side Force technique but it's more of imprisoning the spirit&then containing it like in a crystal(holocron) or just let it expire.
Actually liked this what if. I think ill keep this one as what happened. I think giving Anakin more in terms of his redemption and the events afterwards is a huge hole in star wars lore. Just letting him die was an injustice to the character. So congrats on a good story. Id rather this ending be canon than what happened.
What if Vader accidentally possessed episode one Anakin so he found the world between worlds and while looking through everything he sees his first meeting with palatine and reaches out to stop it and accidentally throws his own mind into his young body
A thought came to me during this video. What if...The Jedi never took part in the clone wars...They never became generals or lead Clones into battle...How would that shape the galaxy? Another question I always imagined was what if the Clone Wars lasted longer then what we know. In Legends TIE Fighters and Star Destroyers was already under construction...Would the Republic end up using it against the Droids if the war lasted longer... All in all good video.

I do know I’m late, but we all know how Anakin got turned by Palpatine, but but what if he had the skill to turn not only Anakin; but also Obi-Wan, DURING the fight
(It would require a lot of previous small persuasion to Obi, but it could be done with enough plot)

A parsec isn't a unit of speed... it is distance. "Making the Kessel run in 12 parsecs" makes no sense unless you went off course and cheated. Seems any ship could be manipulated to list lazily to the left.
I don't even know what to say anymore. Pente, you keep getting better and better. You bring out the deeper humanistic side of these characters in these stories. On your Darker ones you do that too, but it's the more brutal humanistic side as well. I'm not sure what to say as you continue to grow with every story. I hope you plan on doing a Part 2 to What if Mother Talzin Raised Anakin Skywalker. I think that story has more mileage in it.

I'm crying my eyes out. You are an incredible storyteller. This is my most wanted Star Wars fantasy, the full redemption.
Luke turns away from a stuffy nosed Vader to talk into his comm unit "Need some help on the Death Star, pick me ... ZHIZZZ..." - Luke suddenly sees a red saber's blade emerging from his abdomen, followed by Vader's voice behind him "You fool..."
Would Annie as a spy work? He never falls just pretends to. As he's carrying out Palpatine's orders he uses the Force to warn fellow Jedi to be wary of their clone soldiers. While some still die the majority of the Order is able to escape with their lives thanks to the tuggings in the Force they got from the Chosen One. The Younglings Annie killed personally would also survive. Instead of activating his saber to kill them he cuts a hole into the floor or something allowing them to escape.
I would love it if Disney would make a Star Wars series with What Ifs like they did with Marvel
Look up Star Wars Infinities. It's a series of what-ifs based on the original trilogy.

I imagine that Anakin would ditch his current cybernetics for the latest models among other things; the respirator he was fitted with was obsolete from the start.
i cried when Vader died! i didn't know why at the time but i have empathy and when a sons father has died i will cry for their loss! this isn't something we should feel shame! we got to feel for our own people! and if you are human....Humanity is your people!
This is beautiful. Much better than the crap story Disney came up with, and even better than what I've come across for George Lucas's plan for the sequels. The Skywalker order... awesome!
Could you do what if palpatine turned good in return of the Jedi and went on trial for his crimes and admitted to the galaxy that he was the puppet master of the clone wars and that he created the empire so they could repel the yuuzhan vong invasion obviously he would be executed but it would be cool to see
This was so wholesome. My god the whole segment with Anakin having a safe space with building was stunning and made it seem so real but also surreal at the same time. I wonder what George Lucas would think on this take. I would love an animated series or regular TV series of an alternate route in canon like this. You could throw in some legends canon to really make the show turn into something incredible.

That was a happy ending for Anakin ? Can you do a what if story on Luke Skywalker when he joined the Rebellion, that he decided not to join the Jedi or the Sith, but he is still an excellent pilot. .
What if earth was in the Star Wars universe
What if anakin was a foundling of the true mandalorians

What if anakin was revans reincarnation or descendent

The Fourth One would be easy: If Tup's chiip never activated, Fives would he never found out about Order 66 which does affect how the events on the Venator happened as now Rex, Fives and Jesse would execute with no hesitation whatsoever. From that point forward, is basically wht if Rex killed Ahsoka but with Fives as well

This is very heartwarming.
In the D20 RPG SW games, when the 2nd Death Star blew up, his severed hand/glove got transported to another planet(not Endor) by a wormhole created by the hypermatter core's explosion. If Anakin's really intent on resurrecting Padme, he can create her clone&then do a spirit transfer by flow walking back to when she died. This was done to Bastilla Shan inside the Rakatan's Star Forge. It's a Rakatan Dark Side Force technique but it's more of imprisoning the spirit&then containing it like in a crystal(holocron) or just let it expire.
Actually liked this what if. I think ill keep this one as what happened. I think giving Anakin more in terms of his redemption and the events afterwards is a huge hole in star wars lore. Just letting him die was an injustice to the character. So congrats on a good story. Id rather this ending be canon than what happened.

A thought came to me during this video.
What if...The Jedi never took part in the clone wars...They never became generals or lead Clones into battle...How would that shape the galaxy? Another question I always imagined was what if the Clone Wars lasted longer then what we know. In Legends TIE Fighters and Star Destroyers was already under construction...Would the Republic end up using it against the Droids if the war lasted longer...
