Trying to detail how I make a stainless pipe into a Y joint, then into a set of blast pipes for exhausts, I like this way better than just jamming some elbows together because I can get the butt gap close and I'm left with a tight fit to weld up
I've seen this joint used in industrial applications as well
hopefully it makes sense

Not a ripoff at all.
I just landed a job where we use 3 inch sanitary stainless steel tube and I’m going to try and make a set first thing I Gotta do is get band saw like yours.

45 deg is too big, 15 deg is max, this will disrupt flow and minimize gain from scavenging

Its at the end of the exhaust, its nit a runner or Manifold, nor pre muffler, its 4 inches of tunnel, theres almost no restriction thus wont affect anything.
