Imran Khan's version of cricket: If Pakistan wins a match then it's my great captaincy that won it. If Pakistan loses the match then the batsmen didn't bat responsibly, the bowlers were not disciplined in their line and length and the fielders were very poor in stopping the ball and taking catches.

It was an informative,illumnating i and explosive interview. For an Indian there were so many unknown facts which have come to light. Imran Khan with all his qualities would never have succeeded in being a successful leader of Pakistan because he did not have the capacity for hard work or transforming whatever vision he had into reality. The 4 years of his leadership has devastated the country both politically and financially.The worst part is that even after having been divested of power he has become the worst enemy of Pakistan. But then he had declared his intentions loud and clear in his TV interview.

Here are possible explanations to IK's behavioral pattern:
1. On why he married Jemima and not some pakistani girl from middle class.
Answer: Jemima came from a very wealthy family and IK knew she could afford to fund his lavish lifestyle. He knew that his cricketing days were finished and in those days cricket was not a great paymaster and brand ambassadors didn't get paid much, compared to today.
2. His enemity with Najam Sethi: He was probably given the information that Sethi was friendly towards Sharif family. In IK's mind every current and potential rival like Sharif and Zardari families need to marginalized if not destroyed. Sethi would be a fool to believe that IK can be friends with anyone.
3. His issues with army and Establishment: It's his old habit of using people and throwing them in dustbin. He needed the Establishment to come to power and become PM as well as destroy his rivals. But later on the Establishment realised that he couldn't produce even a fraction of the results that was expected out of him. Additionally he became an embarrassment with his stupid outpourings. So they gave the message to IK. But Imran Khan being Imran Khan didn't want to change or quit from PM's chair so he decided to take on the army with the help of the Pakistani masses and maybe some disgruntled senior army officers.
Unfortunately he never realised that he was trying to bite off more than he could chew.
His call for early elections: He knows time is running out for him. The more the delay in holding general elections, the less the chances of his return to power and PM chair. Additionally there's a high risk of some old irregularities that he may have committed earlier may crop up and may compromise his chances.
