Will Casuals Absolutely RUIN Wuthering Waves?

Are Casuals actually bad for Wuthering Waves? Will it kill Wuthering Waves? Will Wuthering Waves die? Well hang on a sec. We're getting ahead of ourselves. Let's reframe this scenario. I think it's time to have a discussion about where hardcore and casuals stand, not only for Wuthering Waves, but for all games in general. What are we missing here? Are we misunderstanding something?
Wuthering Waves is coming out very VERY soon, and this will be my final analysis video before the release of the game. So here you go! This is pretty hype!

I think people conflate hardcore games and a hardcore mentality a little too much. In a game like PGR you can totally get by as a casual just doing your clears on PPC and Warzone. You'll get less skulls than somebody with a hardcore mentality because they're trying to place well, but that shouldn't really be of any consequence to the casual since you still get the same amount of BC.
You can play difficult games "casually" the same way you can play easier games (like HI3rd) with a hardcore mentality. Good video but that intro sequence for Blue Archive long as hell 💀

Mmm, yeah was thinking it was a tad long, was getting carried away. Ty anyway. Also, this is absolutely how I view PGR. I think that I play pretty casually in PGR myself, but I do find myself with a little bit of the hardcore mentality baked in there, especially for Warzone. I think it's probably because I just want to see the big score be bigger or something. Maybe it's a natural reaction, which is good btw, but also, sometimes I think that people might think that I'm being a hardcore player despite the fact that all I wanted to do is "try a little harder for a higher number".

@@Smorticle For sure man I think a lot of people start casual and then want to try for bigger numbers/better leaderboard placements and then sort of mindset can carry throughout all the different games you may go to play afterwards. I would say I treated PGR casually but i really enjoyed leaderboard content grinding out a high score for warzone/guild battles every week and getting a high placement was really fun! Hope this game can offer that same sort of thing you mentioned in the video where theres optional high ranked stuff which is for bragging rights or whatever

@@Smorticle Personally while the combat in PGR is the among the best in the market. The story is what I.... To say enjoy, would be too easy of a word for this story written by I'm sure sadist genius writers.
If WuWa succeed, and Genshin players for some reason try out PGR and manage to get past the dreadful early game. Their gonna get shell-shocked when they get past chapter 9...
