did a few mistakes since chixia brainrot had me rotating verina weirdly but it's fine, can be faster especially with a more invested sanhua (better sword + human echos)
example of a faster encore rotation where you completely forgo her heavy attack and ignore verina outro every second cycle
there is so much talk about powercreep recently but honestly its fine to just play who you want; there is no content in this game that requires any specific one character to 30 crest tbh

This boss has around 1.3m effective hp, Encore S0 dealing 1.3m damage within 1 min is insane. The ToA buff is not even for Encore itself
This floor gives general bonus damage buff, it's way easier from the previous tower. But yeah the current 5 star DPS aren't that far from each other.

Encore scales on her basic attack. That 60% liberation is a total waste on encore while only getting a slight benefit on 60% skill damage.
encore is ginna pop off when changli drops with her buffs in toa. very exciting
@@stelixhyx808not quite. Again, Encore's liberation scales on basic atk dmg. Changli's outro gives fusion dmg and liberation. That's why people are looking to pair Changli with Chixia instead.
then again, Changli's fusion buff might benefit Encore more, making Changli being a better support for Encore (plus Changli also deals pepega dmg so that's more dps😂)

Looking at all those encore videos I'm really tempted to just get her with my 5* selector, even though I was saving it to hopefully get S6 Jianxin in the future (Since I lost every 50/50 to her so far).
I'll try to stay strong and raise my S5 Chixia instead.

Let this be a lesson for everyone to roll for crit rate or crit damage when tuning echoes. Any that don't get either of these get fused.

I only choose the characters for their design, gameplay and lore. How strong they are is only a plus.
Based on that that's why I prefer Jinshi over Encore, thank goodness I got it.
PS: I play on PC, Although the game works quite poorly for me hahaha.

I have it myself but still struggle to fit anything but HAs into quickswaps, so far I only managed to use the BA into 'no-mid-concerto-swaps' rotations, which are really bad with Encore as main DPS :/

I have some question, basically regarding encore chixia and changli.
We have similar built encore here, mine is still lv 70 (UL 48) with 72/272 stats.
What do you think about encore stringmaster vs chixia r6 static mist? I know both are single target specialist and both basically share echoes. So if you have to choose one, which one will you pick?
Regarding changli, do you think she will outdps both encore stringmaster or chixia r6 staticmist? I mean, yes she is a limited unit and would be normal to outdps them, but will she basically make encore or chixia irrelevant?

for single target i'd pick encore stringmaster, i think sanhua is a better teammate to encore than yinlin is to chixia imo (i do like chixia in 2-2 though just for clearing the starting mobs really fast)
i haven't done calcs or anything on comparing a changli maindps since ill always be using her as a dual dps i think, but i honestly think their damage as a maindps would be close and definitely won't make encore/chixia irrelevant (and even if changli dps was >>> encore/chixia dps, can still share the echos c:)
i'd need to test them together as teammates and until then my opinion on it can only be taken with a grain of salt but i think changli hypercarry team options are limited and she would for sure favour quickswapping-favored teammates
wow u realllly have insane luck on echo stats. Having got every echo with double crit, I can't even keep my atk up close to 1700 tho.
Not only double Crit but 4/5-5/5 BIS substats on every echo. Actually insane how clean their loadout is. Definitely not luck at this point tho, I'm willing to bet they farmed an ungodly amount to achieve such minmaxed rolls

you know encore echo build got me thinking, if jinhsi has diminishing return on spectro dmg since she has crazy amount of spectro dmg bonus (with her sign) up to 150 with tower buffs, isnt encore better with atk% & fusion dmg? what do you think
the thing is skill damage bonus is likely in the same bracket with spectro dmg bonus in the formula, and jinhsi have like 60% dmg bonus from her weapon, so atk is better on her

if full fusion echo = 30 + 30 + 12 (sign weap) + 50 (molten rift) + 22 (from skill if full stacks) + 20 (if u have S4) + 30 (buff from tower hazard) = 174% dmg bonus !!
if you have changli that buffs fusion dmg then thats another 20%
@@jokodassad the changli buff is a seperate multiplier (deepen/amplify) so it wouldn't matter for this c:
i calculated it before a while ago i think in my own scuffed spreadsheet
60(echos)+40(fusion set)+12(stringmaster)+12(inherent stat)+20(inherent passives if >70% hp)+12(stringmaster), then accounting for buffs like +30(floor buff)+24(inferno rider)+12(heron)+10(bell)
our atk% is 24 from stringmaster (more if off-field), 36 echos, 12 from inherent stats, 20 verina passive, 22.5 moonlit, 15 rejuvenating
this is not including echo substats (the random rolls you get)
with all of this, atk% can be extremely close (depending on substats/buffs it could even be a tiny bit better - we're talking like less than 1%)
this is all with my stats though (i generally plug my own stats in because my calcs are personalised for myself)
the only takeaway for me is, 1 fusion 1 atk% is good, and 2 fusion is good. 2 atk is always consistently pretty bad for me - i haven't tried calcing with encore sequences but i'm not sure if that'll change it
tl;dr i always roll my atk% echos too when i'm trying to get upgrades~ 1 atk and 1 fusion can be just as good as 2 fusion on encore

thanks! not sure if I know a timeframe but it took a long while of farming mine and friends worlds and thousands of tuners; it helps that chixia uses the same stuff so it doesn't feel like i'm investing in just one character
Got her s1 when trying to pull jinhsi. And i never felt so happy for losing 50/50

verina is great but you can run baizhi in that slot just fine
baizhi cycles a lot slower, but she still gets the job done with her damage amplification and as a rejuvenation glow holder!
I already did 6 stars in the middle Tower whit Encore, she's just OP.

what's with those God-tier sub stats. One time i rolled 5 times on a 3-cost piece and all i got are bad stats. getting a crit rate + atk was the best i could hope for.

Just lost my 50/50 to encore and this showed up 😂. Anyway is it bad to use her Heavy attack? Eince you used skill insted of it during rotations.

this rotation is pretty compressed so i kinda have no time to use heavy attack since it takes so long here (wanted to fit in 3 liberations within a minute c:)

@@Yumi-Mei nah its fine, I already accepted it and coping at the fact that "Hey, at least i can use Changli and Encore in a single team comp." Still want to try and get Jinshi but I havent seen any proper Bookkeeping records of Asterites we get from 1.0 till Changli drops. Skipped 1.0 banners so im pretty hopeful.
Anyway, thanks for the explanation! So you adjusted your rotation based on the situation, want to get the best out of her since i got her anyway and she is kinda fun to use in switch comps.

not having yinlin isn't the end of the world imo unless you really like her
lots of things can clear tower in this game so play what you find most fun
team1 jinhsi yuanwu team2 encore sanhua is a really great setup
At first I wanted Changli because she was a sub dps for encore. (Plus she'z literally lit with her kit)
But now that it was a misconception and she's actually a main dps with bonus outro buffs. Ngl i was a bit disheartened since I would have like a yinlin for encore.
Still gonna put them in the same thing nonetheless and just reverse their roles. And actually I think, Encore as a sub makes sense with her swap friendly kit.
How does Encore damage fair against Changli btw?
my take on this is changli will be a dps that wants to quickswap a lot~
i don't think she'll function the best as a pure on-field "main" dps since she has nothing that requires her to be on the field.. she has the ability to swap cancel literally everything (skill/heavy/stance attacks) and get fed intros for her stacks, imo the best use for her will be to cycle every 24 seconds (2 skill casts, perhaps 2 intros?, 2 heavies and ult) whilst trying to minimise her field time and basics that she needs to use.
i think it'll be better to see changli in a duo-dps core where the outro is just a bonus (a very good bonus at that), her personal damage will be still really strong for what she can do imo.
i'll be honest if we're comparing encore vs changli as a maindps, i don't think changli will be too strong as a sole onfielder; encore can use sanhua deepen really well whilst taoqi imo is just way too slow at generating concerto for skill damage deepen for changli. then if we're not using taoqi we'll be looking at quickswap options instead and you might as well just be using them together yeah
if they're together though and they both have fusion sets i think their damage distribution will be somewhat close? hard to tell without spreadsheeting a specific team rotation properly with all buffs included qq
but again we'll see, my opinions are based on testing a ton in the story trial and a few scuffed personal spread sheeting endeavors D: i'll be testing a ton when she comes out properly since there's only so much we can know with only the story trial

Like she has so much stuff going on with her skills, attacks and forte and thus requires field time. Her passives (I think it's called innate skill?) is also dps, so as her sequences. The only supp ort she got is the outro buff which is kinda meh for encore since she only gets half of the buff (fusion damage) and liberation damage bonus is not that good compared to Sanhua buff. And the buff is also too short iirc (10 seconds).
I think Changli/encore works like Calcharo / yinlin.
Calcharo's kit are screaming main dps but when you mastered how to quick swap calcharo and yinlin, the dps is much stronger even without abusing yinlin's buff.
So my guess is changli's outro buff is just a bonus and you still want to play her as a quick swap with encore

very excessive example (not trying to kill the boss ignore the rotation qq) but shows how you can use changli skill/stance attack/heavy whilst instantly swapping (i dont think swap cancelling everything like the video will be optimal, but swap cancelling enough so that all the swaps have a use)
you can probably do this inbetween encore skill / bike and verina stack generation (swapping from changli skill can put you in midair which is good to expend verina stacks as an example too)
there's a lot of potential there and for making the rotation it just comes down to what does changli need to outro on the right unit and generate enough energy to ult once every 24 seconds
so rather than her being a support it's more just a dual dps with a supportive outro!

The guy must have some really cracked echoes and leveled skills. I cant replicate this.
One should bear in mind to always roll for crit rate or crit damage when tuning echoes, as that's how you deal massive damage
@@o_o-037It's not just the Crit value. These are + ~6% DPS each on Encore. %ATK are ~3.5%, and Flat ATK/BA% are ~2/1.5%.
If you look at their Echoes, they're all BIS or close to it, its actually insane how good their loadout is. Compared to double CV with random substats, the difference should roughly add up to 20-30%
Yall missing another huge factor here dude is using string master yin lins weapon on encore so yeah she's cracked.
@@templeknights No, you are. Stringmaster over Augment averages a 35% DPS increase on Encore. Such an echo setup is much, much higher

@@Yumi-Mei the sound ding really helps for faster swapping, we dont need to look with effort at the right (character icons) or at the concerto circle below if intro/outro is possible, an audible sound cue will be enough. Controller gang is playing w handicap fr fr 😂

ah nevermind. apparently verina can get her outro by doing swap to verina skill echo ult > swap out > swap in 3 basic, jump, 3 atk.
Variation is still faster but previously i was waiting on skill again so yeah lol

it's intentional yes and allows for a roughly 20 second cycle for encore's liberation~
using hold attack i think can be good if ER is lower or you're missing some skill hits due to boss being annoying, rotation cycle will be a little longer though c:

i'd say try both ways and see what's best for you and your stats, higher ER makes skipping the forte more of an option and you'll be able to rotate faster~ but to be honest there probably isn't tooo much difference overall

@@willburning6955 yea that might be true. But I usualy press forte-> verina swap->instant sanhua swap into full combo->verina swap full combo and then back to encore. But yours looks fun too I will try it some time for sure.
Its just feels like a but dmg is lost when you remain for a bit longer in ult and finish with normal E into Sanhua like u do...got I wish there were dummys or spezial traininggrounds for testing.

I am not wasting tons of her time to risk to miss or find myself being almost forced meanwhile push/lure enemies in range with the others(without Jianxin)
