Dear Mr. Reactor -- My deep thanks for your continuing support of Ben Platt and his extraordinary artistry. I have posted SO many comments on TH-cam that last month Mr. Platt sent me a personal DM -- oh, my heart be still! Lovely, of course, to receive his shout-out, but really nothing about what I want to say to the community. It all goes down to how much this amazing performer and composer superbly sheds a light, based on his own history, to what so many of us relate to. I love Ben Platt so much! He is another one of those rare special gifts to us. He is able to show his emotions through his singing so well, and we won't even get started on the vibrato. One of the best singers around.

Ben is that type of singer who has the ability to reach straight into your heart and pull out emotion. I find myself with a tear in my eyes or streaming down my face almost every time I listen to him.

I knew that the guy who sings "older" and "grow as we go" is called Ben Plat. And I knew that Evan Hansen is Ben Platt. Somehow it just hadn't clicked in my mind that it's the same person. I don't know how.
