Hello mate, slight correction to the graph... maybe... The 3p x 16a (22kw) is 78km per hour, not 56km, I'm looking at mine charging right now also The 3p x 16a (12kw) seems to be running at 75km per hour. Making it a 3hr30min charge till full
For someone that might be considering a trip like that, approximately how long did it take you to do the planning? Are we talking hours or days of work?
Short answer is a couple hours for a 9,000km trip. If you have the charging gear and not constrained by charging options you can work it out as you go along. Spending time though looking at options and merits of overnighting somewhere and when to use a particular charging option will optimise your trip. Optimising means working out the tradeoffs of whether to stay overnight where there are only slow charging options (say 15A/3kw at a caravan park) and keeping the faster charging options (such as 3-phase 11kw) for your travels during the day.
