- Adelle and Lou listen to WRAW 99.5 and hear a strange collage: 99 Earanuses 99. Lou also recaps his recent South American tour with Dinosaur Jr.
Paid subscribers to our substack can hear the collage (and many, many, other pod and non-pod related extras) in it's RAW form.
barlowfamilyge...
Watching Lou dance with joyful innocence to the beat he created is EVERYTHING!! Also, having a conversation about masturbation and Lou not playing his amazing ode to self-love "3 Times A Day", seems like a missed opportunity.
Maybe there'll be a live rendition of 3 Times A Day in the next ep!
99 earanuses 99 scratched my brain reallll good
Love your show and wanted to comment that per your comments about South American fans I agree as being a huge RUSH fan you can see this when they pack 100k stadiums and you hear the entire crowd singing “closer to the heart” word for word or just rocking to 2112!
Listened to this ep on audio and had to rewatch on video. The 99 "song" that played was like trying to tune in a far off low powered station and hearing a few different broadcast frequencies mixing in to the anus. I mean ear. The self help guy who blathers on and never gets to the point reminds me of the Phil Hendrie character Kenny Slag.
crowd looked dope indeed - people in America dont wanna be touched
Having a long history of being shadow banned by youtube, I'll go out on a limb and try re-posting the comment that I had posted the other day (that has since disappeared) ..It went something like this.. "I think that the both of you would really like 'The Handbook to Higher Consciousness' by Ken Keyes Jr. Brand new copies on Amazon are a little pricey but used copies can be had for less than ten bucks. 'Gifts From Eykis' by Wayne Dyer is a fictional story that can't help but fuel introspection. What I liked about both of these books is that they cultivate a rational mind rather than promoting new age / metaphysical dogma."
we like Wayne, I’ve never heard him go too woo woo, I’ll look for Ken K, tnx!
If it weren't for Wayne Dyer, I'd have never heard of Ken Keyes Jr. and if it weren't for Ken Keyes Jr., I would have never sold most of my personal belongings to hitch hike across the U.S. to spend four months as a work/learn student at the now defunct Ken Keyes College. Ken was an amazing man with a very inspiring life story. Hopefully you'll take the time to read up on his 'Science of Happiness'. Here's a great interview with him.. th-cam.com/video/O1eJcnk4ZKQ/w-d-xo.html
