This inkscape tutorial is by far the easiest to follow. I find inkscape really difficult to use and the way you have clearly explained it and zoomed in enough, means that I can follow along using your instructions. THANK YOU. Please make a video on cutting the file and applying to glitter vinyl as I would love to see how it turn out. 😊
I left you on a cliffhanger long enough *forehead smack lol* Here's a video of the completed project! th-cam.com/video/xnYzgVUSr5E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=LsPjdgwBZydAFPbQ
I'm blown away! You get right to the steps...please do more videos! I am new to rhinestones. I have cricut for cutting. I have silhouette for creating with hours spent with no positive results. I am feeling confident in inkscape. My biggest issue is font script with rhinestones. If you have video for that. Love the mother daughter duo!
Thanks for watching my video! Are you looking to create your own rhinestone scripts? Sometimes, via etsy and TheRhinestoneWorld.com and other vendors/shops, you can purchase some rhinestone scripts that you can download.
Yes! You would manipulate that in the steps mentioned at 3:30. You can reduce the numbers where we put 40 in Shift X/Y however, if you make it too small, it will make cutting difficult in what Inkscape calls "clumping." Also, it will tear if you need to manipulate your template from surface to surface. I hope this answers your question!
Great tutorial. Is there any way to not make it sound like you're in a tunnel. Kind of hard to understand. I will check out other videos. Thank you for sharing.
Did this exactly last night but trying again today so get experience. I'm doing exactly the same steps and using the exact same ivy leaf but there is a white box round it as if its a png?? Totally don't understand .HELP
Hi Penny! I didn't think many people would watch my video; sorry for the delay. I personally use the Cricut Maker and an HP laptop. Everything works seamlessly!
Did you have a hard time removing the solid image? You really have to find the "sweet spot." I tend to zoom in sometimes and do my best not to click anywhere near where a know the cut outs are. I try to find the edge and then click & drag it away.
Sorry but I did not like this video, I LOVED this video. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 You did a fantastic job explaining how to do this process. Your tutorial was easy to follow and understand. Can you explain and/or create a video on how you created your inkscape customized interface? I would love to have mine look like yours. Thank you so much for sharing this process with us.

Is there a way to make the circles appear more closely together? Or would that create issues when cutting?

Does it automatically save as an SVG??
When ever I save in Inkscape, it saves as an svg.
Thank you for this, very helpful
