I really liked the fact that it wasn't an open concept plan. I liked the paint colors and it really made me think about how I grew up with plenty of room to roam outside. Beautiful.

LOVE the shiplap backsplash! I don't like many types of backsplashes. We have beadboard for our backsplash. It's actually a textured wallpaper but we are planning on going with real beadboard soon. The shiplap is a great idea too though. Love how it contrasts with the white. So many of these farmhouse tours have a white kitchen (as do I), with light/white countertops. I had previously assumed I would have to go dark with my countertop to offset the white. Not so anymore. I really like the lighter countertop. It doesn't look like white overload at all. What type is your countertop, anyway? I don't recall hearing whether you spoke about it. Thank you. Lovely home!

Woods and whites always look so cozy, and orginal.....not sterile.....thank you for the tour.....also, forgot....your children's bedrooms are absolutely perfect !!!!! Also, love everything about the mudroom and I love the beadboard you used for the stair risers ! And, another thing, your kitchen backsplash, PERFECT ! I think I could go on and on !
