Great idea with the art ledge with family photos. Love her idea of vertical ship lap. She has done a lovely job and chip is pretty darn cute. Very charming home.

“Refusing to go into debt” I agree THE SMARTEST THING ANYONE CAN DO! Jeez I’m only in at 6:30 minutes and I already love it! I think I love this one the best, this is so REAL! She tell you right out, this is a work in progress ( the flooring in the kitchen she thought she’d like: epic, I love honesty and aren’t we all in a process of what we’d love to change).
We bought our 1930s farmhouse in 2019 too. Its amazing how much they've done with their house in this amount of time.
Holly.... I love what you said in the beginning about TH-cam and why you have started the tours. An excellent....excellent point! I love following people on TH-cam and seeing their ideas, etc. but you are so right with the VERITY OF STYLES with these tours! I love them and love the ideas I get from other’s homes!

The home is beautiful..Rome was not built in a day so as much as you would love the kitchen done ,it’s a waiting game..I waited years for min ,but it made me love it even more..A home always changes ,never stays the same and I love what you have done with your home it’s full of love and that’s important 😀
Another trick with shelves is to be sure some are symmetrical and some are as symmetrical. Love the family photos

I’ve always loved how the Older homes ha e windows in the bathrooms. Always so charming and cheerful. Since she loves using family photos, the staircase would be awesome lined with photos. I’ve always done that. It actually makes the space seem larger, as it adds dimension. Plus, it’s just so charming. Love it !

I got my last 3 antique farmhouse goodies, I got the canvas of 2,billigoats....they look so so real in a way,bright and cheerful colors...love it, and ice antique rusty look sign, and something I've been want for years antique look powder jar/brass lid...my son died, I'm gonna put a dried rose in it....I learned of antique farmhouse. We bought a house for next to nothing, did a complete gut job, and ended up mortgage free. We still have work to do on the outside, but have the same motto, don’t go into debt to do it!

Está super hermosa tu casa, acogedora de buen tamaño la madera me encantó tu entrada la cocina, todos los cuartos están hermosos parece un hotel todo todo me super encantó, te saludo desde Aguascalientes un estado de la República Mexicana, acá donde yo vivo no vemos casi nunca este tipo de decoraciones no hay mucha madera porque sale muy caro los pisos son cerámicos y hacen que se sienta más frío el espacio. Adoro lo de madera las cortinas las diferentes texturas de la tela me encantó gracias por mostrar 😘😘😘

Please lrave the teal tile. So unique!
I use electrical conduit to hang my curtains. It’s strong, it can be painted, it’s inexpensive, and modular, so you can make it any length you like. Lowe’s can also cut it to measure. You do need heavy brackets if you want to try it.
