- Amazing Historical Photos Volume 31 is a collection of rare and nostalgic history photos designed to entertain and educate. Some of these old photos are rarer than others. But, all take us back to a different time.

Indeed, poignant and horrible at the same time.
Kids playing outside unfortunately there's not enough of that happening on todays world they really are missing out on an awful lot

This weeks typo: The Teddy Roosevelt photo (The first in this collection) was taken in 1877 … and not 1977 as shows. 🤦♂
You will need to recheck the Theodore Rossevelt photo again because 1977 definitely isn't accurate

1:29 Waddy's Wagon wasn't shot down.
Waddy flew the B-29 into another B-29 and both 29's crashed and no one survived.
There are varying reports. Yours is the wikipedia version but there are several contemporary reports stating that Waddy's was shot down while escorting his friends stricken B-29 which had been badly damaged in a kamikaze attack. Guess we'll never know for sure.

My guess is there’s not a lot of diving … spiking on the other hand, now appears easy.
Extraordinary as always, with some photos almost unbelievable. Very moving and I appreciate that your collection never includes sensationalist photos.

Thank you so much for the kind words and constructive feedback. It’s such a grey area. But, I’ve turned down several photos just for that reason. If I do include one that’s close to the line then I’ve found the poignancy outweighs the risk of sensationalism. It’s almost impossible to get it right for everyone but I try :)

Your English language is outstanding. I took 5 years of French in high school and college. Also had two french speaking girlfriends and got to converse every day. But, that was quite a while ago. It's been so long now that I have almost reverted to being illiterate ...lol
@@AmazingHistoricalPhotos Oh I would say I'm more of a Beauty than of a history lover and the photos you share have such beauty in different aspects. I have a hard time ''remembering'' what I learn about history even though I would have much interest, so I kind of lose interest in the long run:-) French is a very ''complicated'' language, I must say. Thank you for you compliment on my English:-) and I'm looking forward to watching your next ''artistic photographs''.

The date regarding Teddy Roosevelt is wrong
It was a typo that wasn’t caught and cannot be corrected after posting … There’s often one that slips through so any corrections are always noted in the title description.
