My parents grew up in London during WW2. I find photos from this time particularly poignant and heartbreaking. Read about the Titanic survivor, what a story. And he was so handsome. Once again, a lovely collection with beautiful background music. Thank you.
They hit me hard too … my grandfather was at Dunkirk and Monte Cassino (among other awful places) … He took 5 bullets and kept fighting and going back for more, survived and my mum was a war baby. My hero
I LOVE these old photographs - very thought provoking, wondering about the lives of these people - oh how things have changed, and not always for the better ! Thanks for these videos. Take care 🙂
The banner is there for 8 seconds then not for 8 seconds …. plenty of time to hit pause … the banner is what the audience prefers after much experimentation … can’t please everyone unfortunately 🤷🏼♂️
@@AmazingHistoricalPhotos I think it's just fine.👌 On some channels it's so small that you can barely read it! And like you say.... it's only for a few seconds.😊
I didn't get a lot of strong emotions from any of the pictures with exception of the one with the child's shoes. However as always it was fascinating and entertaining. Loved the music.
Yes, I think I may have overstated on this one. Its not the best title I ever came up with for sure … But, I can’t change it now as it will mess with the algorithm 🙈
Great videos. The pics are so powerful and thought provoking. The music is just right and the pics are held for a perfect amt of time. I thank you for that. Can you tell is the community tab so I can read about the titanic survivor? Thank you so much for your work.
These are remarkable photographs, I learned so much. I like how you keep each photo up long enough to study them. Your music is perfect. Thank you!!
Thank you for you watching … and for your kind comment 🤗

You’re welcome. Thank you for watching. 🤗
A great set of photos and my favourite piece of your music so far. Thanks, Mark. Best wishes from Cheltenham in England 🏴
Many thanks! 🤗
It's a bit weird when photos from the 60s and 70s are labelled as 'historical'. I remember those times!
It feels like it was a blink of an eye, right? Me....born 1952
Some great photos.
Thank you 🤗
Reduce the size of the banner, it blocks too much of the photo
I agree with that :)

@@AmazingHistoricalPhotos It's not that the banner is on too long, it's too big on the screen.

I like it. It's sometimes a "reveal" when it disappears.
interesting how time changed

“Miss Lovely Eyes” competition was a little freaky and the 70s hairstyles🤦🏼♀️
The lumberjack's bunk house - I can smell it now!
Must’ve been awful 🙈
Yesyesyes!
👍
The only strong emotions evoked from me were from the women hand-wrapping Hershey Kisses without gloves.🤮
