    Something about these fruits make me feel like the happiest little monkey munching away on a segment whenever I eat them, just sitting there in the sun, it's rare to find a food that makes you just stop and take notice like this.

    I just ate one. They taste like oranges but a little sweeter and it's not as acidic as a regular orange. They're easy to peel and the juice does not run down your hands lol but no I really liked this compared to normal oranges

    I take my time. I peel off the membrane and eat them one at a time. I treat it delicately. Sooooooo good.

    I have been buying these Sumos for at least 5 years. They are often about $3 each but the very best citrus you can buy period. Enjoy because the season is short. Perhaps a valentine's treat for your special person

    Just shared one with my wife as we watched. Saw them at the grocery store today here in early January and did a double take! Sumos!!!

    I love Sumos. Yes they are expensive. They are, however, very big and filling. Much more than midget Halos or Cuties. I buy only Sumo when in season and eat just half at a meal (which also holds down the insulin rush), They are the best so why bother buying other citrus (I do buy grapefruit though also).

    2.99 each is ridiculous. Here in Beijing you can have a dozen with that price and I’m very confident they taste not a single hit worse.

      In California?

    • @b0red324
      @b0red324 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If this is in California it's illegal to grow sumo citrus from anything from a seed you find and plant. The only except is if you have a commercial growers license.

    Dry and not very good. I do not know how long that particular bag had been in the store (Walmart). I was hoping more tangelo like given that it is basically Minneola/Honeybell sized and shaped only wrinkley.

    These sumo citrus are not worth the $4.00 price tag at all.I can name quite a few citrus oranges/tangelos that are just as good or better that do not cost this much for one!! Do not waste your $

      $4.00 is too expensive. We pay $2.29 for a large fruit or 2 pound bag for around $4.30. You can always grow your own like I do. citrusvariety.ucr.edu/crc4249
