Man those dance moves! Love your reviews. I'm a VW and Audi guy so I love hearing good things about their cars. Even though my mk7 gti will NEVER be traded in for a giant SUV. But the atlas looks pretty nice.
The Q7 comes with 2.0T and Quattro in the US. In case of the Q7 you save a good 7k and that is more than enough if you never tow. I foresee VW putting the 2.0T and 4motion in the Atlas, sooner rather than later.
Great review really looking forward to getting this vehicle for me and my family I was wondering about ride quality compared to maybe the CX nine or like the Tahoe in terms of harsh Road comfort and also what was that other Drive setting and what did it do would like to know thanks. And keep up the good work
I'm SO disappointed with the engine power output...... lousy 280hp ????? what the hell is that gonna do for you when you really wanna floor it t get going while overtaking !?!?!?! That think is a tank, not a SUV... at least throw in 350 hp in that V6! I sure hope a V8 is available later on!!! Till then, thank you, but no thanks to VW!!!!
That slow VW 6 was the same motor used for the base model Porsche Cayenne until just recently. This vehicle is just too underpowered for it’s curb weight. The spartan interior is simply not competitive enough for the segment. Kudos to VW for at least trying to innovate. As always, nice review Steve.
I apologize!!! Yes, I saw and heard this and was absolutely shocked and appalled by it!!!!!! I brought this up with my videographer and we both missed it on the shoot and editing. I take full responsibility and fear it may show up on our next video as well....I'm not sure. BUT... I am aware of it beyond compare and will pledge my soul to fixing it for 2018!!!!!! I have an "excuse" for my error...but it's pointless at this point. I hear you and appreciate your feedback and will do my best to correct this verbal abuse..:) Steve

mike saget I think he said 2.0T AND 4 MOTION, which the atlas doesn't come with. It only has the FWD 2.0T
