  • In todays video i am preparing for the silage season. The Haybob 300 had a few buts for fixing and a few bits for replacing. So with support from Agriline Products Ltd. i did a Over Haul on the haybobber. Straightening the bend stand and gates, tightening up the frame, replacing the gate stiffeners and replacing all the tines in the haybob. I also gave it a bit if a wash and it really looks Like New!
    I hope you enjoyed this one, the Haybob is one if my favourite machines in the faem and i felt it deser

    Changing the times is tough enough but the amount of prayers that would be said trying to change the springs and getting the new ones lined up with the barrel - not happy memories!
    Might job Declan, keep up the great work.

    Great job Declan. Tís good to get all these jobs done and you'd be hoping everything would go well when it needs to be worked.
    Will you take off the stand when you're using it now that it won't slide up?
    The tines aren't too bad to change. It's bloody broken springs and roll pins that can leave you with skint knuckles and saying a few prayers!!

    If you want to bend in the hanger for the gate, get a m16 threaded bar and two nuts and keep tigtening them and it will bend it back in, but run a shot of weld to strengthen it too.

    instead of trying to remove and bend that centre divider piece, loosen the two bolts and slide the main crossbar slightly accross away from the tines , there seem to be plenty of room on the opp side to allow you to slide it over and that should do the job

    • @wildcat22
      @wildcat22 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The crossbar has 2 plates welded to it and they align with the main clamp(if it's like my rake).
