One of my high school teachers told us that writing something is the same as reading it 7 times. It's been my best learning tool.

Handwritten = yes. Our brains record this differently. I use notepads like crazy. I stopped using Notepad++ and other tools for that reason in certain situations.

Thank you! Thats exactly what I've been doing at the library:
4 Practice exams. Every part I got wrong, I found the right answer then wrote it down. The next day, I would immediately retake 1-2 tests a day in the test timed 90 min session. Otherwise the info would get lost.
    Materials used:
    Ucertify
    Dr.Meyers
    Dr.Messer

Very cool. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Network+ is hard, but I think it will really help to show potential employers that you have what it takes.

Hello, I am a nationally registered paramedic currently taking his A+ course. I learned a lot of crucial test taking strategies to study for my paramedic certification and it seems that if you are able to break these tests down and find a way to absorb the knowledge. Your likelihood of passing is a lot higher

Please share your techniques for studying and absorbing the information.

    • @TheItalianGentleman2394

@@slickwilly6868 for starters time management is very crucial. Second, you need to have a good understanding of the different types of learning and figure out which one works best for you also, repetition is key. You need to drill these concepts into your head

Also, if you are getting questions wrong, look at the logic behind the answers and be able to identify what areas you are struggling with so you can smooth out those rough edges

I am a police officer, currently studying on my own for the Network+ Exam. Yikes! All I have is the Study Guide book. Im on Ch 6, and very discouraged

    • @richardhyman6981
      @richardhyman6981 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Don't get discouraged. I know that's easy to say, but I was having the same thoughts then I found Professor Messer's videos and things started to click. Just keep looking for the person /method that can explain it in a way that clicks for you. Good luck!

@@richardhyman6981 Thanks Richard. I’ve since gotten all of Messer’s course notes, videos, etc. HUGE help! Also CBT Nuggets. I’m much closer to taking the Network exam I think.
I believe I have landed an entry level IT job, with no experience or certs. Just waiting on the spot to open so I can get in there. All about who ya know, I guess! Still working towards the certs tho.

I am a big fan of applying for jobs early. The reason is that it will take time and if you land any interviews along the way it can be extremely helpful even if you end up not getting the job. I see each job interview as practice,, as training. You can only get better at the process by practicing and that applies to job interviews as well. You do not want to walk into the job interview for your dream job at your dream company and then just completely fall apart.
