  • I had the pleasure of flying with Hannes from a small aerodrome in Switzerland. After a short time getting to some 3,600 ft high "hills," it was time to get down to business doing slopes, pinnacles, confined area in mountainous terrain. The highest I've flown "mountain" wise is about 500-800 ft.
    This experience was completely different above 3,500 ft with landings in. I learned a lot and hope you do too. Just remember I was flying with a CFI and under no circumstance is this video or anything represented in it to be used as substitute for actual cyclic time.
    Happy Flying!
    Michael!

    Great video. High workload and you probably learnt a lot. Good instructor - interesting snippets about the different terminology.

      Clive Sinclair it took me a second to get used to the phraseology. Not something we could have gone through on the ground either since I didn't know what he might say. A very well experience CFI.

    Michael, thank you very much for the video, I`m very surprised about the good quality . It was fun flying with you and presenting some of our training locations, you were really good, think about it, you just arrived in the morning in switzerland for the first time.btw the flickering low fuel light at the end of session, we still have had fuel on board for 40 minutes , this technical issue has been corrected on the same day....Happy landings to all..:)

      canadianwing it's an absolute beautiful country to fly in. If the weather would have been better I think more "hills" would have been in the planes landing spots...

    • @canadianwing
      @canadianwing 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      come back with nicer weather and shoot me a msg if you want to go up fix wing too!

      @MichaelCarrPilot  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      canadianwing that would be sweet and much less expensive than the helicopter too!

    Which one do you trust, low fuel light or the gauge?

    • @MichaelCarrPilot

      rustyracer51 which one do you trust?

    • @rustyracer51
      @rustyracer51 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michael Carr I would guess the gauge?

    • @MichaelCarrPilot
      @MichaelCarrPilot  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      rustyracer51 Gauges are only supposed to be accurate when they're empty though. By then it's too late though.

    • @rustyracer51
      @rustyracer51 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michael Carr So the low fuel light is what we should trust then.

      Awesome. Thanks man. It's good to see you in a helicopter again. I'm almost ready to start my flight training. Hoping within two months.
