Prally cuz Metalheads and Rock fans have a greater appreciation for all facets of a song. Instruments, vocals, lyrics and how it all fits well together. As opposed, to r&b/rap fans that mostly focus on the artist than the music. Probably cuz they don't produce they're own music. On the other hand, producers of rap songs have great appreciation and analysis of songs.
@@monkeydben7360 I'm a progressive rock fan. I reckon people who listen to more lirically and musically "complex" songs are more appreciative of the quality of a good song. Frank Ocean is an extremely personal artist who just does what he wants to do, leading to a lot of experimental moments like that in his career. He came up with Tyler the Creator and the rest Odd Future. He was originally just their resident crooner who would write songs for more famous pop stars (Like Beyoncé, John Legend, & Justin Beiber) but he began to rise to prominence once he dropped his first mixtape, "nostalgia, ULTRA." Jay Z & Kanye heard about the tape through Beyoncé & they put him on two separate songs off Watch the Throne (Their collaborative album), one of those songs being the massive "No Church in the Wild." I love Frank & his music. He's possibly one of my favorite musician because of his honesty & vulnerability. He started to become more prominent while I was in high school & he made me see the world a hell of a lot differently. His music helped me get over a issue I had with homophobia. He had released an open letter revealing his bisexuality & I had already went a full year listening to his music, being moved by what he had to say. I found it ridiculous to ostracize someone for who they wanted to love, especially when his music helped me through heartache because of the people I chose to love. He even lead me to the strength to realize the truth about my own sexuality, which is incredibly nerve-wracking already & even worse when you're a black man leaving in a community that doesn't really approve, so his music will always hold a special place in my heart. "Self Control," a song off "Blond" (his second album) would be a pretty nice next step for you guys. It's one of my favorites. Either that or "Seigfried" which is also on Blond as well. Love the videos by the way. Keep 'em up. I always enjoy watching people journey deeper down the rabbit hole that is music.

This channel is just the absolute best reaction channel. As for Frank Ocean, the man is just one of the all time greats and Blonde is a damn near perfect record, glad you guys enjoyed! Next up I would recommend Self Control or White Ferrari, maybe even Pink Matter with André 3000. Great video guys! Edit: forgot to mention U-N-I-T-Y off of his visual album Endless, which is also fantastic.
Frank Ocean's Blonde is propably my favorite album (or one of them) and I agree this song might sound better with the context of the album. I think you should do songs like "Biking" and "Chanel". They are two great standout songs that were released after the album came out (I have suggested both tracks here before). Keep digging!
Frank Ocean was in Odd Future with Tyler, Earl and a bunch of others. I don't expect y'all to react to it but a reaction to Oldie would be really cool.
I love this song so much and him of course Listen to more songs from Blonde, you guys will love them. Lyrically Frank Ocean is there guys, it takes time to get used to his music but his music is an art and it’s all about the emotions rather than making just another r&b song
What i love about frank so much is how seriously he treats his art/music, he doesn't do it to please anybody but to make music from his soul and he's incredibly talented at it
can't wait for more Frank Ocean videos. Blonde is absolutely beautiful beginning to end and honestly one of the most dense albums this decade by far. there is infinite details/references/contributions from other amazing artists to unpack in every single track. his other projects are amazing as well but Blonde is basically perfect.
Nights is definitely a track that you appreciate more after you’ve dug deep into Frank’s music and vision. Blonde, along with Endless needs multiple listens in different moods you discover different layers and emotions from what Frank has created. Great video guys, will definitely be watching more.

so glad I found this channel, brb about to go see every one of your videos AND DO MORE FRANK OCEAN
I guess you guys may potentially find it easier to delve into Chanel Orange. Then maybe push into Blond
OkChig blonde*
@@wavypthe1 it's both.
He got two versions!!!
Nostalgia Ultra, specifically love crimes and even novacane will ease them in smoother
They have to know coldplay. They should listen to his cover of strawberry swing.
The blonde album plays out almost like a journal, each song feels like it has a greater purpose when you listen to the album as a whole
Ivy- Frank Ocean
Mural- Lupe Fiasco
A life in the day of Benjamin Andre- Outkast
Come back Baby- Pusha T
Famous- Kanye West
Super rich Kids by frank ocean is great 👍
He also says that his main purpose with his music is to paint a picture and deliver emotions!
2:20 ‘got to imagine some transition is coming or a change’... lol
that’s exactly what i love about frank and his music. no matter what song, i can always imagine a place or atmosphere or scene when listening to it. a truly talented artist can paint vivid pictures with their music.
Frank ocean also used to ghost write for Beyoncé, Kanye, John Legend & Justin Bieber. Super talented dude
Frank never ghost wrote for Kanye
He wrote several hooks on Watch The Throne
He was given credit so it doesn’t count as ghost writing
I'd say watch the throne was one of his breaking points
@@jamesslocombe2064 Not ghost writing
Earl Sweatshirt ( Burgundy, Hive, Whoa, Hoarse, Faucet, Grief, Solace )
Jaryd Larsen Grief
Oldie by Odd Future (Tyler, The Creator & Frank Ocean)
So weird but as soon as Gain$ said that thing about a movie, with rain pouring down, my brain also went to Ryan Gosling.
One of my fav songs by him ty guys you're killing it with these daily uploads
A Johnny Sins frank ocean collab would be perfect
lmaooo
Never clicked so fast
GIVE MY BABY FRANK RECOGNITION!!!😭❤️❤️
He is one of the most mysterious artist, it’s like he’s living off the grid. He never does any interviews.
He’s like if Daniel day Lewis was a musician
This and theneedledrop are my only two channels with the bell notification on. You guys are so good at providing genuine reactions, but also explaining exactly how you feel in such articulate ways.
Holy shit finally!!!! This is also my favorite song from Frank Ocean.
I love this song so much and him of course
Listen to more songs from Blonde, you guys will love them. Lyrically Frank Ocean is there guys, it takes time to get used to his music but his music is an art and it’s all about the emotions rather than making just another r&b song
You guys gotta react to Solo, Nikes and Biking (solo) by Frank Ocean too!!!!
Clicked on this way too fast
George Fielder so fast lol
LMAO SAME
Lupe Fiasco ( Hurt Me Soul, The Cool, Put You On Game, Mural, Prisoner 1 & 2 )
What i love about frank so much is how seriously he treats his art/music, he doesn't do it to please anybody but to make music from his soul and he's incredibly talented at it
I fell in love with this song driving home alone after a long day at work, just enjoying the ride
Kendrick lamar - the blacker the berry
The weeknd - the hills/often
Lil uzi vert - baby are you home
J cole - crooked smile
Biking- frank ocean, Jay Z, Tyler the creator
can't wait for more Frank Ocean videos.
Everyone coming just to see the reaction to that beat change lol
Frank is in my top 5 fav artist. Also in my top, Isaiah Rashad, do Isaiah Rashad Wats Wrong
TAKINMYUSER hell yeah
Nice transition lmao
frank ocean pyramids, it will blow your mind!!! keep up the great work!!
Do more frank ocean guys, loved this video. His music is great for reactions, his music will leave you with alot to talk about.
as an extremely dedicated frank fan this was one of the best reactions ive ever watched, you guys have a great mindset and i appreciate your passion for music
And honestly you guys are both pretty bright when it comes to reacting to music but when it comes to nights it really takes listening to it a couple of times to truly grasp it more
rock reacts til the day i die
Frank ocean does what my favourite band radiohead do by himself. He is the greatest musical artist of all time.
This album and his first are considered classics.
honestly I relate because I didn't love frank at first but after listening to his albums chronologically after a few times, he's my all time favorite!!
I remember listening to nights for the first time in the background, not really paying attention. A few days later the second part of the song kept playing in my head, and I was like “I have to listen to this song more!” It became my most played song in Spotify 2018 and 2019...XD
I use Simon's beard to gauge when the video was recorded. 500 IQ, people.
I use Jons beard. 1,000,000 IQ
you guys NEED to listen to young thugs “digits” with the lyrics up!! it is a different form of art
METALHEAD- “you’ve got to imagine a transition is coming”
Frank Ocean- “hold my beer”
The start of John's amazing relationship with Frank Ocean which continued on the solo channel - lovely to see :-) I can never get enough of this track
first time i listened to Blonde, i thought it was boring. i went back to it almost a year later, and now i think its one of my favourite albums i've ever heard. Frank is a true artist.
Like so they can do self control - frank ocean next
Should do Chanel next or maybe some older stuff
Blonde is literaly one of the BEST album of this decade this is just art i never loved an album that much
i like how open you guys are to taking in new music from different genres! much love
Nights is a song you have to listen to while driving at night and or in the rain to really feel it and then it’s amazing
