Holy cow, Dondozo and Dragonite are some of the hardest raids usually. 7* might be rough.

Will shiny hunt a couple of Alolan Raichu when it's live. Just need Hisuian Sneasel to hunt shiny plus marked. Hope they give us that outbreak. The Hisuian Sligoo is a guaranteed Hisuian Goodra on evo so that's on the shiny hunt list as well.

I was not expecting any of this, but they were all a pleasant surprise. I want the Pokemon Company to continue this for fall/winter and heck even into next year. I doubt they would do something this crazy, but it would be kinda cool to get ‘hyped’ up for the 30th anniversary of pokemon red/green in Japan, they just said late this year, ‘hey, we’re gonna release 2025’s entire schedule for Tera Raid and Outbreaks’ and the Raids were Legendary Pokemon but with new and interesting Tera types, and a different generation for the Outbreaks with increased shiny odds for each like 5-6 weeks going from gen 1 in January to gen 9 in December. I’m not getting my hopes up for that at all, AT ALL, but I love this new approach to them releasing their schedule far in advance.
I wish they would have the ultra beasts in the terra raids
I'm glad that we're able to get more regional forms of other Pokémon in these upcoming events. We had the Hisuian starters as 7 Star Tera Raids, Hisuian Voltorb in Mass Outbreaks, received a Hisuian Growlith from Perin after completing her quest, and now Alolan Raichu and Husuian Sliggoo. Interesting enough, most of the regional forms are Hisuian
Well, except for Rattata, Zigzagging, Corsula and other Pokémon who had regional forms that aren't in S/V, hope they come back at some point tbh
Guess they'll be stalling out Feraligatr,Infernape,Torterra,Serperior & Incin since that would make players leave since they've collected the Unrivaled starters sans Paldea since they're very likely Horizons PR.
Alolan Raichu and Hisuian Sliggoo are genuinely cool events since they cant be obtained in the game. Everything else is ok since its all stuff obtainable in game.
Glad they seem to be slowly repeating some of the early 7* raids as the first one I was able to do was Decidueye, so looking forward to being able to get the ones I missed out on.

Ngl, I think it's really stupid of Game Freak to have made Gimmighoul have regular shiny rates. WTF were they thinking? Should have at least had an increase in shiny rates after the negative feedback they got when they first announced it during their Pokemon Presents.
I was hoping for a second chance to get Shiny gimmighoul. This time I'll ONLY bother with the 5 star raids for it to ensure I get a shiny. It's gonna be raid Cycle time.😅

I recently realized I had at some point unintentionally overwrote my spare profile's Gimmighoul event raids, so I'm very glad I'll soon have a way to hunt for the shiny again (still upset they're committed to releasing it this way, where most everyone will just join a shiny raid found by someone using a bot and date skipping to scan for shinies. Just let us hunt static spawns!!)
SO hyped for Shiny Gimmighoul returning. Missed out the first time, so I'm gonna make sure to grind it this time for sure. I'd like two for the sake of evolving one, but you know, 1/4096 on a raid sounds kinda brutal.
Still no shiny legendries....someday, before the next gen we will get them hopefully.

@raddadonline just imagine if they did a raid like how they did the zeraora raid from sword and shield, but we have the legendary pokemon from the box cover as powerful as the mewtwo raid, and if we beat them we get a gift of those as shiny versions.

I am looking forward to getting to Shiny Hunt Alolan Raichu, also Bagon as I got Scarlet. I think that they should do a 7 star Ghimmighoul and guarantee it being shiny, but you can only catch one per save file, the odds for the GG raid were low and I never found one
I haven’t been playing S&V from the start, since I started playing around April I’m looking forward to Hisuian Sligoo & Shiny Ghimmighoul, I will definitely hunt for those
i just wrapped up my shiny Alolan Raichu hunt in Lets Go June 12th too
Really hope they release an outbreak of Hisuian Braviary in the future. I've got this really pedantic thing about catching everything in Pokeballs, so I can't transfer in a shiny from Arceus. But this definitely solves the problem of hunting in Sun and Moon for Raichu and the Sliggoo is a very nice bonus!
I missed the 7 star Pikachu the first time around, so I'm happy to see it return. Since Contrary Lurantis was popular the first time, I think I'm going to try Contrary Serperior with Sunny Day, Giga Drain/Synthesis, Solar Beam and Leaf Storm.
I hope we get a future event for carbink, it would be a great event for a shiny carbink

Alolan Raichu! I've never had the chance to play whichever game it was that took place in Alola, so I'm excited to be able to hunt for it in SV.
I would really love it if they would bring back the Cinderrace 7 star tera raid. It was not long after the release of the game and I never was able to catch it.
It would be incredible if they would bring back the old ones and rotate one each day or something like that so that people like me can catch up those they missed.
So no Feraligatr, Incineroar or Serperior 7* raids... Can anyone say "next Legends starters will be totodile, snivy and litten"? (I wonder if they'll be getting new regional variant evolutions or megas?)
Or the most wanted/anticipated 7* - Meowscarada, Skeledirge and Quaquaval - which will be super important because it will be the only time you can get the gen 9 starters in a different ball other than Pokeball! (Though this will probably be being saved for when the Nintendo switch is finally wrapping up its era if past events are anything to go by.)
I mean you can get them in Great, Ultra, and Masterballs in Go
I was so lucky with the Mightiest Mark Pikachu I caught in Violet: after checking with the right NPC it turned out I could give it the Jumbo Mark aside from the Mightiest he already had! 😁

Alola Raichu means there is 1 less Pokemon I have to soft resetting in Dynamax Adventures, which is awesome. Also the Gimmighoul, I didn't get the shiny last time out, hopefully will have one this time

Ah this announcement is quite underwhelming... I'd like to finish off the 7-star Starters collection, and possibly have a week of a re-release of all previous Starters in case you happened to miss one. (I missed Alolan Decidueye unfortunately...). It'd also be cool if once all the Starters had been released, they went on to do 7-star Paradox or Legendary Pokemon.
Aint no content update till Osirus breaks it down. Good to know we're set on the calendar for a few weeks, cant wait for the tera raid builds!

Quick question: When you bring out Mew against any of the 7-Star Mons with Mighty Marks and defeat one of them besides Mewtwo, will that earn Mew that said Mark or not?
As far as I'm aware, only defeating the mighty mark Mewtu will give your own Mew the mighty mark.

That's probably Unaware Dondozo to prevent stat boosts. Debuffing it should work better.
And that would be Inner Focus Dragonite to stop Intimidates in Solo Raids. Tera Normal so Rage Fist can't hit it. Belly Drum Drain Punches should work. Let's pray that they don't give it multiple turns for clearing stats.

Anybody else had good luck with a Shiny in a Tera Raid battle? I got a shiny Bounsweet during one of my Tera Raid battles, and I wasn't sure if it was just me or not!
Over the course of my base game journey I got 2 shinies from tera raids in my copy of Violet; 1st was a Tropius and 2nd was a Flapple, both came from 5* raids that I was doing for item farming. Nice little surprises.

It will be nice to snag Alolan Raichu with Gen 9 origin symbol, but beyond that most of this isn't too exciting for me. I love Dragonite, but at this point I'd rather they just finish the 7 star starters. I'd like them to do 7 star Gen 9 starters
I don't think current Gen starters have been catchable since Gen 6's friend safari.
All starters will be getting 7 star raids including the Paldea starters as they were datamined
