thank you for this video. I have just started to use v-ray and there is no other video like this which explain in very simple way thank you so much..... please make more videos if you can
Very helpful video, however I'm no V-ray 6 or something and every thing is different. Can't find to the Global to adjust the exposure like you do in the video. I can find camera exposure but that has different settings. Why do they have to move things around all time.
Great tutorial! Thank you so much. TH-cam needs more V-ray&Rhino content. Quick question: adding more and more maps to my material, I am losing its preview from the Rendered view. Just appears as the color, not the diffuse map. Do you know any solution ?
Thanks for the support! This may be because the small tick box next to the diffuse channel map has been unticked and the material has reverted back to its base diffuse colour. If thats not the case it might be because you've added multiple maps to the diffuse, sometimes i find the small preview window doesn't show up exactly how the material looks. The best thing to do in this case is to have a interactive render viewport running so you can see how the material is looking that way

OK managed to find Hight Light burn - Under Render Output, in the side tab under Quality. In case anyone else was looking.
Color Management not Quality

Hi tom, I have the newest version of vray so the frame buffer has a different layout. Do you know how I can do colour corrections using that?
You need to click the green plus sign on the right side of the V-Ray frame buffer to add layers. There, you can add exposure, color correction, etc.
@@NoelBuller Oh great, thank you
@@NoelBuller Thank you! I was searching too!

where did you download the tree? Is it for free Can you please attach the link?
Hi Biya, there are lots of sites that offer free 3D tree samples - try Evermotion, XFrog, FlyingArchitecture.
If you made your models available for download, your audience could then follow along and do the steps as well..... just a thought
