Big Sean is the most hit or miss rapper of the generation. Hes got his classic moments but hes corny at least 60% of his shit should have never left the studio.

I saw nothing about this album being trash, I thought the album went hard and Metro Boomin beats helped Big Sean step out of his comfort zone. This album was good and Joe probably didn't even fucking listen to it, he sounds like he just goes off what people say smh!!

I noticed everyone is riding the wave of hating on Big Sean, yet he always go platinum. I say 9 out of 10 tracks are HARD 🔥🔥🔥 when this album goes platinum, do NOT become a fan. Same shit with Meek after he beefed with Drake in 2015. Went from Ls to Free Meek.

I didn't expect Kendrick to come up with Rich The Kid. But he did. But He's smart enough to not put rappers like him on his own album. Integrity.

Anyway, I think DoubleOrNothing is alright.
But Kendrick and Mike Will was not far fetched because Mike Will worked with TDE before. ScHoolboy Q on My Hatin Joint. So I can only assume a relationship/chemistry was formed behind the scenes.

In Tune is 🔥, No Hearts,NoLove is 🔥, Savage Time is🔥,Go Legend is 🔥, Who’s Stopping Me is 🔥, Big Bidness is 🔥,Reason is 🔥! The only decent songs are So Good, Even the Odds,& Pull up n Wreck. How is it trash/bad🤔 To me most of the tape/EP was hard af and Sean was spitting hella bars especially on In Tune and No Hearts,No Love. They probably gave it one half ass listen then said that nonsense🤦🏾♂️. I didn’t like it that much off my first play through, then I listened to it again and I was like damn this shit dope af. There’s no way this is a bad or trash album but hey everyone had their own opinions 🤷🏾♂️
Edit: The rest of the songs have grown on me and I’ve been playing the tape since it dropped, they both did fantastic🔥💪🏾. Sean Don especially, I liked how he was experimenting with new flows and the sound of his voice. It came out sounding nice af and I am satisfied with this surprise duo tape🙏🏾

This album was definitely a disappointment and I think Sean is dope. I wouldn't go as far to say it was garbage or trash but it has no replay value whatsoever. I feel like Big Sean had zero impact with this album.

In my opinion the album is pretty good....but I believe Big Sean can do better...he has the potential,he's been in the game for about 10 years I think and has gained a lot of experience...but he really and truly needs to move on from deafjams or whatever the fuck that place is spelled and move on to blow up even more

I really like Big Sean and I think he's slept on in many ways but this album was not enjoyable to me. I didn't think it was TRASH the way some people say, but I definitely expected much more from Big Sean. I feel like maybe Metro and him together aren't a good combo, but Sean was definitely moving lazy. He should've taken a few more months and just worked on a better project that WASN'T a collab album. Never been too fond of those

The album was not trash at all. I think people have a higher expectation for Big Sean because of his co-sign by Kanye. Sean has made music with some of the biggest artist in the rap game and has held his own. But I must admit that I was surprised he did an entire album with Metro. I think the album was pretty good.

The chemistry wasn’t hitting, Sean works better with Key Wane and Mike WiLL. Either one of them could’ve done a project with him and bring the beast out of Sean.

Sean isn’t necessarily a lyricist but he passes because of his flow and bars, DSP was great HOF was good and I decided was really good, and I’ll put Sean right there with Kendrick and Cole. However I listen to all of Kendrick and Cole’s music as well and I feel that Kendrick is extremely gased as far as how good he is, I think he is great but people seem to put him at some God level that is really unrealistic but Sean has the best Flow and usually great bars and that’s why I’ll put him in the top 2 or 3 honestly. People also forget how Sean initiated the beef with him and Kendrick on a collab with him and really bodied that song so people just gotta wake up and stop being so biased
