She's crazy but she isnt sociopathic. She doesnt attack indiscriminately because she knows she works best when keeping a low profile. She also understands gratefulness and friendship to an extent. Altogether a less-sociopathic but no less lethal Fang basically
What I love about the ending is that she's weirdly very generous to the character. Like, she scares him, but it doesn't feel pointless. "You helped me, and I appreciate it, so I'm giving you the herbal medicine. But you just saw that I am a dangerous person, and you being nice isn't going to make me change who I am. This is where you turn and leave before I actually hurt you. Don't get involved with people like me."
What I love about Aki is that she really embodies the kind of player who would want to pick her up. I'm a big fan of poison characters in any game I pick, and I love poring through skill lists and looking for complicated abilities that work in unconventional or complex ways. The way Aki nerds out over her poisons has the same feeling as when you're trying to assemble a DoT build in an RPG and you're poring over skill interactions "Oooh, I get 10% more damage if the target is burning. OOOH I can increase poison duration on burning targets! OOOH enemies inflicted with more than 3 debuffs will explode on death!"
lol my DOT builds in Path of Exile in a nutshell. I've ALWAYS loved damage over time in games... at least, the ones where it's good. You just hit once, and let it do the rest of the work for you!
It makes sense why A.K.I is more crazy than Juri because she chose this life. When A.K.I. was Phantom and got blackmailed by F.A.N.G. she took interest in the Nguuhao dagger and accepted F.A.N.G.’s offer to go under his tutelage. A.K.I.’s craziness isn’t from trauma and it isn’t a coping mechanism like it is with Juri, this is just who she is and she’s in full control which makes her even scarier.

@thomasrodriguez5876 I think it could play like this, since A.K.I. is very cold, calculating and dosen't have the raw power Juri has, thanks to her Feng Shui Engine, she would play it safe against Juri, seizing any opportunities she can get to slowly poke at Juri, little by little, letting her poison do all the work and using her extreme agility and flexibility to avoid Juri's blows, that's the only way I'd see her winning, and judging by how impulse, brash a short tempered Juri is, I bet this wouldn't be to hard for A.K.I to accomplish, I mean she made our character have a straight up meltdown on some harmless herbal medicine by using her manipulation skills, I bet Juri would think A.K.I is just a weirdo and go straight to the fight, but before she can get a hold of herself she would be agonizing from poisoning.
I wouldn't say she crazy she actually is sain, but with an inhuman way of seeing life and the importance of it, she lives for the process rather than life itself, which is deemed indecent and morally grey
Fun detail I just noticed is that the gold design on the little pouch appears to be a snake with A.K.I's hairstyle. The fact that she designed a little snake version of herself and made that basically her logo is strangely cute
Even though she’d kill you in a moments notice. Killers like her usually come across as polite and friendly when really she hates you and everyone else. Not talking down to her as I actually really like that about her character

I think Aki definitely fits the clinical definition of a psychopath. Someone who can act very charming on the outside, but does not actually hold any emotional bond. Speaking with her feels like being in a muddy pool with a shark, and she knows it.
That’s because she wasn’t forced into insanity, she’s genuinely insane. A straight up psychopath. She takes pride in her techniques and knowledge of poison. Moreover, she has an undying passion for poison + testing it on people. She’s doing what she loves.

There was someone on TH-cam shorts that did a character design analysis on Chung Lis redesign for SF6 and how genius it was. Honestly I wouldn't say this was a stretch considering how much thought was put into that design alone.

It didn’t seem that long ago that their voice work/demo reels were on Newgrounds back in its heyday. I’m happy they all stuck with voice-acting and finally made it big both in games and anime.
Faye is literally Aqua from Konosuba though (and Petra from Fire Emblem Three Houses, how I discovered her). She more than broke out at this point. Also wtf that’s Faye voicing A.K.I.?

She’s a serial killer psycho into poison but she’s also a mad scientist who is terrifyingly smart when it comes to chemicals and effects when she mentions the parts about her poison info
Except that medic has a disinterest about his doing. He can easily give you poison by mistaking it as medicine, giving you not treated blood in your body (in the comic, we can see him flooding a bucket of blood in soldier's chest and there's some leaf, rock and other stuff in it) and experimenting on your body while you are on his operation table. He also said it in the animation that introduce him : he implanted a device on a heart that doesn't belong to heavy and when we ask to him if he's sure about this, he respond he has no ideas. A.K.I, on the other hand, she can describe precisely the composition of the poison and the effect on the body. About this, she look like she's on a secondary state when she explain it.

When A.K.I presses a pressure point on the thief and gets them to stand up, it makes me wonder if she's doing the same thing to her opponent in the win screen. Then again- with no reason to spare the one she's fighting, my guess is that she probably kills her opponent
This is really the person that you have to swap meals with to make sure your food isn't poisoned or has it. Heck I would even say make her eat what she cooks for you😅 before u eat it
probably not viable defense... since i imagine A.K.I would have developed a immunity to the various concoctions she uses, so she could have easily poisoned both food with a special cocktail of poisons and watch blissfully curiously as she lists off the list of various toxins she just fed you before leaving you to die in horrific agony on the ground, finishing you off with a stronger poison combination, or curing your poisoning just because she enjoyed watching you feel fear and paranoia.

@kuulshep8727 Nah. A.K.I wouldn't change her art and her master for anything else, has no doubts about what she does, and she is having the time of her life. Juri hates the way her life is going. To the point Chun's advice struck a nerve and left her all flustered. The former is a true psycho, the latter is just putting up an act.
So from what I gather is that she'll only kill thoses who stand against her way, she doesn't like or whenever she gets bored of her previous 'play mates'
My favorite cutscene is her using her claws on the man. I think she is using acupuncture to further torture him or make the poison symptoms worse. I also just realized that her caws are like her version of Fang’s poison hands ( being purple claws).
I just checked a recent popularity poll for street fighter 6. A.K.I was ranked number one. Between her and Juri I’m beginning to think that the street fighter community loves the crazy girls.

My favorite cutscene is her using her claws on the man. I think she is using acupuncture to further torture him or make the poison symptoms worse. I also just realized that her caws are like her version of Fang’s poison hands ( being purple claws).
