Dee jay's all about being in the moment and having a good time. Love it
He does everytime
Yeah music
In ryu scene, he make sure that his student does not trained with premise of hate and rush. The flower circling probably represent harmony of movement and also tells ryu that MC is really focused doing the kata. After that, ryu back to train his mind.
"You jumped off a building and didn't shatter your legs! Welcome to my ninja dojo."
I love these cutscenes! SO GOOD!
Personally, my favorite is Dhalsim. I love "There is no need to rush. Listen to what your body needs." it's so profound and so kind. I'm so used to games being like "Well, I guess you're okay enough. Don't disappoint me." It's nice to hear a different tone ya know?
Zangief, Honda, and Luke are amazing too!
Kimberely is the only one that feels a bit to much like the style I mentioned before. She's not evil, but she tricked you into jumping off a building, like, girl, come on.
She probably thought spiderman leap of faith scene was good idea
Eh, it makes sense with her character that she'd prank you at least once during training.
@@UrLeingod "It's just a prank bro".
I get it, I do, it really wasn't anything malicious or conniving, but in a game where so much of it is inspiring and uplifting hers felt a bit mean-spirited.
I love how Zangief is just the ultimate gym bro and will drop everything he's doing to help cheer you on
Custom Characters in the setting of every video game I could think of are something else man.
This game’s no exception, we just show up to learn the meaning of strength and then suddenly in like a month or two we take the _endgame_ movesets of some of the most legendary fighters around the world.
I mean if Sakura could pull off a hadouken by herself why not? Lol
@@トーキ-g8v Right? She didn't even have anyone to teach her, she didn't even get to see Ryu do it in-person, she saw him do it on TV and just figured that shit out herself. If that's a canon feat in this franchise, anything goes.
Luke is such a wholesome dude in a rough world like Street Fighter.
Tbh this is post sf5 and non of that shabaloo nonsense anymore so the world of sf is gonna be a lot more chill now
Until JP starts doing some shenanigans
Imagine being someone who can have their body become anything you want, have the ability to mimic other people's fighting styles somewhat easily, including some superpowers, and also not having a real reason to do any of it
So our character is Twelve
Yujiro Hanma in a nutshell
Oh sorta like Shujinko
Or Baki Hanma
So basically the pokemon Ditto then? Our character is canonically a Ditto
2:08 grandma at the back: Pff, bunch of casuals.
idk why li fan or whatever chun lis kid name is didnt make the new gen roster cut.
she make a perfect "rival" for kimberly.... oh well capcom.
@@ssppeeaarr well they are doing Dlc soo she might be playability later on
@@jordancrooks6752 thst would be cool. i hope do.
@@ssppeeaarrshe is surely DLC character. You know how it works, money money money
Chun Li in this game doesnt just have cake, she has the whole Qing Dinasty
I wonder if getting the DLC masters will require you to learn styles from other masters in order to unlock their styles.
For example, getting Ed's style requires you to get JP's style as you need Psycho Power, you need Lily's style or apptitude of wind to get Rashid, and you need to unlock Ryu's techniques of Ansatsuken to get Akuma.
What about AKI? She's rumoured to have poison abilities, so I can't think of someone that would serve as bridge to her. Maybe by making her someone that either Chun-Li or Cammy would take notice and be on alert about it
@@dusathemaid my bets on Cammy since it be interesting for the DLC masters are also tied to optional masters that required sidequest to reach them
@@remichroma Yeah, there's that. Also she seems to be the only one still working. Even Chun Li has retired already
Makes much more sense if you asked me! :D
Great point there!
Also possible DLC hints...
XD
Zangief was inspiring. "Good things await you!" "Nothing is impossible, if you train" I need a guy like that at the gym.
I love how everyones teaching you but Dee Jay is like "dance motherfucker dance"
Edit:i imagine Sagat if added will be like "oh you are back from body conditioning for a month? Shin condition on this tree with me"
Zangief would be the ultimate workout partner with how intense and hype he gets for the craft.
Akuma's training be like:
"Ok you have two options.
Option A: you prove yourself unworthy, and as a result I have to kill you.
Option B: you prove yourself worthy, and as a result I'll have to whip out shin Akuma and kill you.
Let's begin"
Damn, with Geif as a motivational guy I could do anything.
My man could make us able to lift a truck in 2 minutes of training with him
Never in my life did I ever think we'd get a custom character that would end up being spotted by Zangief of all people. XD
Imagine having a new game plus and the final boss you fight is your OG character that mastered all the skills he has learned just like Dragon's Dogma.
Damn
That sounds epic
I like how in Ken's scene the character is basically Majima Construction
Imagine you just got back from groceries and you stumbled upon JP only to get new powers.
i like to belive ryu could not meditate because the mc's attacks were rough and violent
but when the blossom came up to the mc they became fierce and pure
Given that ALL the masters is this entire base roster, it's a good reminder that in the end of the day, there is no real good or evil, just life interacting with each other through strength and skill.
Meanwhile JP is out here handing literal bombs to children
They can have a little bombs, as a treat
Pretty sure Juri is like, pure evil.
@@false_idol__ more like pure Sociopathic sadistic bastard
@@false_idol__ Evil means socially maladaptive. She's just a massive asshole.
Blanka just seems like such a BRO.. like, I'd hang out with him even if I wasn't getting trained.
Idk i liked him more when he was beast like but this blanka isn’t bad either seems like someone you can chill with
@NecOwOArc Dan Hibiki: Not Totally Useless!
Honestly I glad he can talk now
Zangief is the supportive uncle we all need.
“Hit fast and with finesse.” Muhammad Ali would be proud
Killer Bee~
Gief is the best master. Super motivational! I'd love to train with him!
Everyone else: Makes you exercise
Lily: literally teaches you magic
JP doesn't make you exercise.
Plus Lily got awesome legs.
Meanwhile Dee Jay teaches you how to dance!
"Nobody ever got good without losing"
"Don't lose hope"
Man, Deejay is the coolest living being alive I swear
Zangief is such a good gym bro. Dude just wants to help you push yourself past your limits. Love it.
I suddenly want to buy Street Fighter 6 now for some reason
Kimberly, that was literally a murder attempt.
right 😭!!
Nah, she fought us previously. She knows we can survive that...
Probably...
What kinda trash ninja can't jump from high places? C'mon now, be serious. That was nothing.
Jamie: "It's not booze!"
My guy you literally use drunken fist
I think the drink is more likely to give you an adrenaline rush, given it's not actually alcoholic. Probably sends your body into overdrive.
@@Shiverwarhe says it's some sort of energy drink, and the tutorial says it boosts your Ki
So some mystical monster energy
@@archersterling6726 Yup. Supposedly it's a drink his family makes, akin to some sort of herbal tea.
@@Shiverwar A herbal drink that gives you a nosebleed... Metal
I know this is a joke but for people scrolling, drunken fist isn’t actually about being drunk while fighting, it’s about looking drunk so your opponent doesn’t take you seriously.
9:43 My man ken really said No Spam
16:44 It's nice that Zangief is actually that kind of hardtry trainer however he is also a good motivator that helps you lift your leg higher.
Probably not a new take but I would love for Dan to be a teacher because in lore, apparently Saikyo is actually a really strong martial art if it wasn’t for Dan’s incompetence
Of course he also combined it with some cruddy Ansatsuken, and (ironically) Muay Thai
So if you give sir photogenic a Dan base and give him the actual Ryu/Ken moves (and Sagat if he comes out) he’s trying to imitate with the stuff unique to Dan, you can make a “true” Saikyo practitioner and show what Saikyo is really meant to be
Not to mention I'm sure Dan would be absolutely PSYCHED to just have an actual student for once
It would cool if you succeeded by doing the opposite of what he says.
All I hear is "Pretty Fly for a White Guy" when Dee Jay is training that dude.
It's interesting how of the character reveals were cutscenes in the world tour
ryu: no sakura, i dont take any students
random character appears: sure, why not
In that time ryu was not a master, now it can perfectly train sakura
Everyone else: actually tests your abilities
Ryu: sees you're top tier anyway
Marisa: "yo square up to this lion real quick..."
Dee Jay meanwhile: straight fuckin' vibin'
i love zangief's gym bro energy
Probably they will allow us to mix and custom all fighting styles one day, won’t they? That will bring the fighting game to next level.
probably sticking with mixing special moves and 1 base fighting style (I am unsure how to process mixing also light, medium, and Heavies.)
Wasn’t there a mortal kombat game where you could toggle the fighting style your character was using, maybe it would be something like that
Zangief is such a fcking legend i swear.
the more I see the OC fighter with mastering the fighter's styles, the more it's like an organic version of Seth that we customize.
Or more appropriately, Ace from Street Fighter EX3
jamie: dont worry is not booze

I find it hilarious how the "mc" went through his own character arc of growing a beard, getting an eye patch and getting grey hair
I really love the feeling of these. They mostly have a theme that you're pretty good, but these people are the best of the best.
You can get there, but it will be a long climb
Juri: Okay, first we need to rip out your eye...
18:37 i love how the MC is visibly amazed at Dhalsim floating
