Sir, really loved your chat with Sir Ian Smith/Bishop the other day.. would love to see sessions like same with other greats example - Gavaskar/Mark Nicolas/Michael Holding/Mike Haysman
after listening this lecture, I feel like touching your feet with all humility. you are a preacher of Bhagavadgeeta in a very modern and practical way. thanks for such a wonderful speech. one of the best speeches I have heard in a long time. a lot of Namaskaras at your feet sir.
Harsha, I thoroughly enjoyed your speech. The topic of the fear of failure resonated deeply with me. I have led a team in the Detroit Cricket League for a decade, consistently making it to the playoffs and reaching the finals three times, yet the trophy has always eluded us. I often shared a similar message with my team: on crucial days when the stakes are high, it's essential not to focus on the outcome. Once you do, the fear of failure sets in. I experienced this firsthand during the 2014 finals. With only two overs left and seven runs needed for victory, we were down to our last wicket. It was a bowler's game, but I lost my nerve and failed. Seven years later, in 2021, I found myself needing to defend four runs. This time, I delivered six consecutive yorkers and secured the win. I share this story because it illustrates the idea that obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off the goal. Once again, I truly appreciated your speech, very well articulated.
Yes, I too observed the same, despite HB putting everyone at ease with his soothing voice and tone. Did you see ho he requested the person who is managing the audio system to increase the sound a little bit? Amazing grace indeed...
Harsha or not ,IIM A graduates will excel in their corporate life..but people like us who are nobody in their academic life yet ..his words are worth gold and an inspiration which never let us put our shoes down....thanks for your words sir
Thank you Harsha. You are always an inspiration to many of us. What a speech. I shared this to my kids and friends. It's worth to listen to this. Every word of this speech make sense. Thanks a lot
Harsha Bhogle's voice is my favourite voice in the world, Because it always echoes Cricket. What a beautiful speech!! As Beautiful as an inswinging new ball hitting top of off stump on a cloudy summer morning😍
Harshaji’s thoughts are beyond his ability to speak eloquently. Much love and best wishes. This will definitely stay with me for a long long time. Special thanks to Anitaji for being the partner he says she is and therefore we have Harsha we know who he is.
To me,Harsha Bhogle is nothing short of God,who has been very kind to everyone of one of us to be able to put into words some pearls of wisdom for all of us to cherish them at every walk of life. My earnest prayers to Lord Jagannath to just give me the strength of mind to enjoy every single word he utters
Sir , I started reading your articles in the newspapers, more than 3 decades ago. A wonderful human being then & forever . Remain as u r always. Grt respect to u bro!
Harsha sir, its a wealth of life experience one can pass on to next generations. Truly this speech is so special in your life as it does make a difference to many.
What a session! Didn’t realise that an hour passed so quickly. What stayed with me is “Determination trumps talent’ Thank you Harshaji for being so inspiring 🙏🏻
The sheer amount of depth, layers, relatability in this hour is astonishing. Will have to watch it multiple times to understand and absorb it fully! A big thank you, sir!
Without paying any royalty to Mr Harsha, I have played that in many of my training sessions. It is such a powerful message, more relevant even today...
I don't know what is so mesmerizing about your videos...probably the content or the way you articulate the content. I can listen to you all day long sir
Years ago your speech in the very same institution was thought provoking and today you again delivered it sir - always something is there to take away when we listen to you and love your usage of words.. Thank you sir🙏
A similar video from IIMA grows me till date (until recently - last week) and this one @Harsha gives me similar messages with more relatable experiences!
@harsha I am not sure how you reach to conclusions that people are not listening to you anymore, I listen your first speech almost 100 times and ensure nothing I missed to implement in my own value system, and pass on that to people around me and younger ones too🙏🏻
Beautiful I could relate so many of your stories with my growing up years Thank you Harsha for inspiring me and bringing joy to my life of watching sports and also your off the game stories. 🙏
Harsha is “ The Poet in the commentary box “. Cricketers in the commentary will talk about technique and their experience , Harsha connects cricket to life and makes sense of it
This session has been such an inspiration for me.. it's come at a time when one is ready to be a martyr to the situation one is in. Thanks for being an inspiration and ray of hope in this world full of negativity. Totally Mind Blowing advice. Loved it.
Thanks for sharing Harsha. This lecture will be relevant even 30-50 years from now. Your honesty for sharing the low esteem and confidence and trying to give ur 100%. Everytime speaks to me. The 3 shadows and the humility/gratitude elements - just reinforces the fact that one can achieve success without changing inner self. This is the 1st time ever i have posted on you tube.
So many lessons to take away from this! Thank you Harsha sir! ❤ I relate so much to you and I aspire to be as hardworking as you! If I ever get the opportunity to meet you, hopefully I'll have a story to tell you about how your lessons guided me on my way to success! Thanks once again for this invaluable video! ❤
I fell in love with Cricket because of Sachin Tendulkar and I am still in love with the game because of you. And listening to this talk, is not an uncle talking (although you're as old as one) but a much needed talk.
My goodness, what a speech! the last few minutes had the crux of it all..Hope somehow this becomes compulsory hearing material for the young india..and yes, Reeza Hendricks wicket is orgasmic level of cricket .. respect to you sir for making us all fall in love with a game that may well be the greatest game of all.
Dear Harsha you have been chosen because of your exceptional achievement in broadcasting but use your contacts and influence to form a trust to do social service it could be in sports or education etc. your service to society makes you truly distinguished . ❤
I had this uncle, he was this pleasant breeze on a hot summer afternoon. He was ever-present during the struggling puberty that I went through, strong as a rock. As all good things do, he died too soon. I look at Harsha and somehow I feel like I know him although I have never met him. Harsha is an uncle everyone should have, it's not an uncool word.
When you hear Harsha, he just goes within you. It almost feels like I am not using my ears to hear, but it's my mind that is speaking to me. Boy if I could meet this man at any point of time. Harsha always gives you that comfort that you sometimes forget he might be twice or even thrice your age, it's just beautiful how someone so senior can seem to be your friend. Harsha if you read this, thank you for every beautiful moment that you've given to all cricket fans across the globe. Thank you Harsha(it feels odd to write sir)
Thank you dear Harsha. It is always great to hear your comments. In spite of not played cricket at highest level , your are always sought for . Have read your book also. You make it humorous by adding Hyderabadi language. Lot of learning and to practice it too. Keep it up
The best part of speech was Principal's advise to Harsha Sir, do not attempt anything without giving your 100% effort... ❤❤ Loved Your Speech❤❤ It is nowadays my whatsApp status also since I loved hearing to it.. Thanks Harsha Sir, true legend of commentary fraternity from India🇮🇳🇮🇳
Thanks Harsha! This was what I needed to hear ❤. That warmth that you mentioned that a producer said you exude was very much there, which made me feel like I was listening to a member of my family give me a motivational/uplifting/inspiring speech. Again, thanks for this and indeed for everything you’ve given us and cricket through these years.
@bhogle_harsha Happiness is listening to your speech and your commentary in cricket. Every word is like a gold dust in this speech.. i'm glad that we got to listen to your voice during some of the great moments in cricket in this generation.. You are such a great inspiration to many people 😊
@bhogle_harsha Listening to Harsha Sir-whether he's in the commentary box, analyzing cricket, quizmaster, or speaking on values, mindset, and performance-is an absolute privilege. He is truly a force of nature and rightly the voice of cricket. You're an inspiration for so many people out there.
Is Chat GPT better than Harsha? It is almost good enough to mimic his voice and face. Harsh is so unique that he would still have been what he is today even without the hallowed IIM credentials. Such is the power of his charm and attitude towards his profession. Man who made a career out of gig. A role model in perseverance and balance. Sweet Talk is no brainer for AI. Very good stenographers vanished with the advent of PC and Word Processor. Perhaps Harsha will be the last of his kind. Memories of Amin Sayani and Tabassum are very nostalgic. Any lessons for budding IIM grad? Proficiencies are old school and short lived. Nonetheless one must do it for it's own sake. It always pays off to catch up and adapt by remaining active and alert all the time and tune up tirelessly. Well spoken as always. Good luck.
Career isnt everything..you just need to work to pay your bills..happiness is something else..it will take a while for you to figure out what real happiness means to you
Hey Harsha , Its a ton of wisdom and I have heard you for decades and admired you, but you need not mention about getting old everytime and feel that Gen Z may not get you, i think that is not required , every one gets you , especially Genz . You are more vaulable now than ever and your best contribution is ahead of you, focussing on the process and ignoring the result is one of the wisdoms of our culture and you put it in a way very few have communicated
This is what makes harsha different, in this entire lecture he has spoken abt how he constantly improves himself. Its sad many cricketer hav enimosity towards harsha and that includes several big names. Its utter disrespectful. But anyway harsha loved it.❤
Thank you very much for your comments
It's always an ethereal experience listening to your dulcet voice Mr. Bhogle.
Much love sir ❤
Sir, really loved your chat with Sir Ian Smith/Bishop the other day.. would love to see sessions like same with other greats example - Gavaskar/Mark Nicolas/Michael Holding/Mike Haysman
Its our pleasure to hear from you
So inspiring… thank you Harsha
The biggest learning for me out of this session is "How much you're willing to do when noone is watching?!"
Yes, it was indeed profound statement. I liked this one too.. Don’t let what you can’t do come in the way of what you can do…
For my generation, Harsha is the voice of India.
Voice of cricket*

We all agree
The nervousness was so palpable in the narrator's voice to welcome Harsha on stage. Such is the stature of Mr. Bhogle. Love from Newyork, USA.
Yes, I too observed the same, despite HB putting everyone at ease with his soothing voice and tone. Did you see ho he requested the person who is managing the audio system to increase the sound a little bit? Amazing grace indeed...
You will never feel as soothing as you do when you hear Harsha speak.
Videos like this make you feel thankful that something like internet exists.
The best part which I liked from the whole speech is "not getting obsessed with the outcome and focussing more on the process".
Hearing Harsha in the same Audi in 2023, nothing has changed! Voice of cricket, for a reason..
Saving this video for viewing when I am down and out..
Harsha or not ,IIM A graduates will excel in their corporate life..but people like us who are nobody in their academic life yet ..his words are worth gold and an inspiration which never let us put our shoes down....thanks for your words sir

You are a gem of a person Harsha. A lot of things to learn from you.
Best voice and commentator Mr. Harsha Bhogle
The sheer amount of depth, layers, relatability in this hour is astonishing. Will have to watch it multiple times to understand and absorb it fully! A big thank you, sir!
Your old speech in IIMA about Talent VS Attitude is very motivational
Without paying any royalty to Mr Harsha, I have played that in many of my training sessions. It is such a powerful message, more relevant even today...
Every time I listen to this man and I wonder how someone can be so flawless. Keep Inspiring @harshaBhogle !!!
Humble. Honest & Inspirational. The role model for a generation, not just for professional acumen but for being the human being he is
I can’t thank you enough for the precious pieces of advice. Forever grateful for your preaching ❤
