Yes, the movie won’t be very relevant to lore, but I believe it’s meant to be a movie everyone can enjoy. A hint of lore and a hint of random things, they want more people to be attracted to the movie, not just fnaf fans.

I still think we could get the springlock scene, have you seen season 4 of Stranger Things? That has some gruesome imagery. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Overall, I think the movie will be good. But knowing the fandom, they’re going to hate on it no matter what. I just hope the movie portrays how dark and tragic the story really is.
Even if that’s what the internet is disappointed of, they should be glad that this is coming out after eight years of its announcement and development, it’s ok if it’s not part of the lore for goodness sake, they should still appreciate this is Scott’s biggest project yet!

you’d be really happy to know that it shifted studios because scott cawthon walked out the room with warner brothers employees saying “good script or no movie” because the script was terrible according to scott by the way it is confirmed that fnaf movie budget is about $36,000,000 I also don’t think rating really effects like if the movie is good or not Rated R Movies allows more gruesome blood and curses, which doesn’t affect the horror. Sure we may miss out on the springlock scene but they could just show us like blood splattering briefly and not the entire brutal thing knowing how the spring bonnie suit looks, it would also be kinda weird to see blood just coming out of some yellow bunny’s robotic arms

One of the main tropes of fnaf is that what’s implied is scarier than what’s shown. Example: In fnaf 1, it is implied that phone guy dies and gets stuffed in a suit and is now being kept in parts and services, not shown. In the movie, if we just heard William’s screams and then blood splattering on different things around the area, it would be scarier implied than shown. Or you know, maybe no blood splatters out and we can only hear the screams.
Saying that the movie delay is the reason why a movie is going to be bad. It's a stupid thing to say. Because usually when a movie is rushed, it's bad. Not when a movie has taken a long time to be made.

1. the reason Scott changed studios was because warner brothers disagreed withs Scotts vision for the film and they were most likely going to make horrible changes, so Scott left to find people who agreed with his vision for the movie. 2. the film is currently the most expensive Blum house film right next to the new exorcist 3. pg-13 doesn't mean it wont be graphic, fnaf was never that graphic to begin with, in fact the film has a pg-13 because of "strong violent content, bloody images, and language so it wont affect the quality of the film 4. what makes you say that are expectations wont be met, did you get to watch a special screening of the fnaf movie no else but critics watched, you don't even know what peoples expectations are at that point, we've all seen the trailers we know what to expect, and if they aren't met, then this is going to be an extremally interesting film.

You really think they invested 5 million into this movie only? 😂 even 10 million seems too little. They’ve obviously invested a lot more, plus they’ve done movies with budgets of 20 million and even more. Even then, look at what blumhouse did with just 10 million on Halloween (2018). 3. Rating has nothing wrong with it, if you’re being realistic. The lore in the games is pretty much hidden and only implied, and the only violence shown in the games is not that much. The movie is literally rated pg-13 for strong bloody images. Lights out had the same rating and it had a scene with a cop with empty, bloody eye sockets. A pg-13 movie can get away with a lot of things.
1. Blumhouse may not be indie but they have "indie budgets" which of course will be less than something like WB. 2. The FNAF movies budget was 25 million, but that section was just to make a quick comparison. 3. You do make a good point here, but some fans that like stuff like the VHS tapes may want to see things that can only be done in a RATED R film. But who knows, maybe we get a RATED R version of the film like Megan did.

Honestly might be a Cyberpunk Lite situation. Too much hype and dev hell makes a good product (after edgerunners) but misses everyone's initial expectation by a wide margin. It won't be horrible or even bad. It looks like it will probably be mediocre or good. It's just we've been waiting and hyping this thing up for so long that anything less than perfect, a literal impossibility, will be a disappointment. We'll probably look back and see the movie as amazing, but it'll probably be initially lambasted to hell.
This and a bad video but I'm still looking forward to the movie even if it bad I won't complain they did change a lot of stuff from the lore standpoint like the girl being hunted instead of the night gard I was a little mad at that being changed and the spirits helping to kill the girl but even still I must watch since mathuagh lilerd singed a 3 movie contract
When I heard their was a fnaf movie I was SOO EXCITED the lore for fnaf would be grate for a movie but when I saw the trailer and found out the movie isn’t following the lore at all it was upsetting but we’ll just have to see
