Thank you for the high quality video with clear instructions. I was having trouble figuring out how to get to the last two plugs.
Your welcome! How did everything turn out?
@@friendlymechanic9778 I got it back up and running as strong as ever thanks again!
Great video! Very well explained and appreciate the patience showing the detail of the process. I have taken your recommendation and purchase the spark plug socket set …. Don’t want to risk using the straight socket and stripping it.
Again, Thank You!
Great video! I had trouble removing the crankcase breather hose on my X5, I had everything off except that and didn't have another hose to replace if I broke the one already on the car. I gave up. I'm ordering two, one for X5 and one for 740i. I'm going to tackle this on the weekend.
Great video. Gold standard!
OMG! OMG!!! People say BMWs over engineered pain in the ass. That’s an understatement!
This is great, very very detailed for all surprises, thank you very much!!
Dude, this video is fucking awesome! Thank you!
You are welcome! 👍🏼
Where did you get that socket I’m having trouble getting mine out
I got mine from Amazon here is an affiliate link
14mm Sparkplug Socket With Extension: amzn.to/3iFUYL3
You can also find any tool and parts I used down in the description with affiliate links to all tools used 👍🏼
I have a toque wrench but trying to figure out where the numbers go on the wrench not sure
Pull the sleeve just above the handle and twist it until you get to torque value you want. 23NM for the spark plugs.
@@friendlymechanic9778 yes I did found it online’ hey man I used your video on everything! Change all coils & spark plugs ! Used your methods for the tube ! That cost $75-$200 I saved it & wow the cars works great!
Did you use the $150 oem plugs or the $10 oe?
I used the Bosch OE plugs on this one. I don’t remember the price for all 6
