  • We travel 6 hours from Chiang Mai to Petchabun province to ride for the first time the Phu Tub Berk (ภูทับเบิก) climb. After experiencing over 40 hairpins and jaw-dropping views we recommend every road cyclist to add this ride to the bucket list of cycling trips in Thailand.

Thanks for the video! My friends and I plan to ride our bikes to the top of that mountain next week. this video helps a lot to prepare ourselves for that hellish climb.

Kow Lam my favorite ! I love the Taro or Sesame ones 😉 Nice video of an beautiful amazing climb! Thanks! You do go some distance from Chiang Mai to find these! Good for you ! Another nice coffee cafe there at the end too! What! another downhill not allowed? 🤔

Thanks, Mike! If it had the same history, this climb is better than so many iconic climbs in France! 🇫🇷 Such a surprise the specialty coffee shop in the middle of nowhere lol. Any suggestions for great climbs to review in Nan province?!

@@CyclingChiangMai That is good to hear about that climb! Yes for sure in Nan has many climbs. Nan to Santisuk/Mae Charim or instead head out to Bo Kluea area
(has that famous #3 road ) which is a real suffer fest for us 🤣
But many of the climbs are not super long. Some of the Bo Kluea area they do keep coming though 😉I'm sure if you can contact any local clubs they know of many that we do not.

Looks like a more beautiful climb than Doi Inthanon. I'll try to get out there next time.

Thanks, Rob! Together with Doi Chang, the most beautiful climb I've done in Thailand, hands down. You should ride Inthanon from Mae Chaem side, significantly more beautiful than from Chom Thong.
