I put all the kabuki brushes away a long time ago. I wanted something with a little give. A month ago I put a pea size of foundation on my palette and took a fluffy brush and buffed the foundation on the palette until I felt every fiber had a little foundation on it and lightly applied it to my face and it worked so well I didn't know why I'd never tried it before.
Yeah I'm not a buff brush girl... I never use heavy enough foundation for it to be necessary ya know.. I like foundation with a light runny viscosity so fluffy not too dense it my VIIIBEEEE omg I LOVE how it looks... You just GLOW... Glad I'm not alone on this.

Your skin has that island girl glow, omg I love it. Is it the hyaluronic acid the secret ingredient that gives that smooth, radiant glow ? I’ve been hearing people on tik tok say this, but I don’t trust them, lol.
The glow is hydration drinking water getting rest. I am HUGE on vitamin c and glycolic. Hyaluronic can plump you but for that consistent radiant glow inner health and cell renewal, preventative and corrective sun care… I do sunscreen hats and aloe or a good gel moisturizer in the evening… and drink as much water and eat tons of water bearing fruits and veggies. Watermelon, cucumber… zucchini, lettuce, tomatoes 😅 try to get in h30 bc sometimes water don’t cut it

I've noticed that you use less color correction? And less product in general in your foundation routine? Maybe it's due to how HOT it must be in the DR!
YUUUUUUP!!! Good point! all those reasons, skin care and allowing the products to do most of the work and being ok if small things peak through... I will use CC if I'm going for BARE makeup and want to forgo foundation and concealer.. but yes... sometimes I'll add a tiny bit to my concealer to help on days I need it...

Yesss I did a vide not to far back about incorporating it more easily with concealer.. but it's not always needed... Like there's everyday makeup, No makeup makeup, HD and Red carpet makeup lol... I love knowing how to do it all but def paired down bc BABY it be HOT out here LOL
