Gosh you are beautiful but if this is the quick everyday tutorial I will never get there lol! It’s a bit much for me. Maybe one day I’ll be gifted enough to have someone do this for me every day.😂 I will keep watching and hopefully one day I’ll get it!
no need to feel overwhelmed you don’t have to do every step .. try taking away tips, info about product, technique and incorporate what you can.
Beginners doesn’t always mean simple.. beginners calculus is not simple.. but with study & practice you will get it ❤️
one video is not going to equip you to be a pro .. but it should give you some incite as to how you can start… try incorporating a step or two .. play in your makeup at night 👍🏾

@ravensgyrl Agree sis… most of my life, my daily routine includes moisturizer, mascara (also use to color gray hairs in eyebrows), eyeliner & lips. If going out, i might add press powder around eyes & nose.
To practice for my sons wedding, I need assistance with highlighting eyes.

Omgosh, same here! I put on eye liner and move on but I’ve always wanted a more sophisticated (mature) look but unsure where or how to start. I checked some of the videos out there, but I’ll need to go back because I want to learn what to do with these eyebrows first.

I enjoy watching your makeup videos for people over 50. I love that we can see your pores in your skin before you put on the makeup. A lot of makeup artists on TH-cam don't do that. In fact, they use a filter, so kudos to you.

I have lots of good powers, I have all the tools. I really would like to figure this out because my concealer wears off throughout the day. I’m not new to makeup, I wear it everyday and would like my base to be flawless.
I see no pores tbh. All I see is beautiful skin from jump.
You are blessed. Your makeup looks really professional. As a beginner it's a lot for me personally to take in. Thanks for sharing all those tips though. I guess there is no other way to conceal aging but through the art of knowing how to apply makeup. Blessings.

Sis, this is the first time I've seen your content. You are BEAUTIFUL and I love your teaching style. That said...this isn't MY level of beginner. 😂🤣 What I CAN do is take some baby steps like the "design" you used for the concealer as well as letting it sit a minute. One day when I'm "playing in makeup" like I did as a teenager, I'll do the whole thing side by side with you. I appreciate your talent!
Yours is the first and only channel to actually show how to blend correctly. Most channels just say blend and they don’t show the technique on how it is done.

Kiki, since I've been following you I've stepped up my makeup game. It took time and night time practicing before I hit the shower to get the confidence to go out after adding steps to the routine. Getting the war paint in on first really makes a difference.

This is impressive. I can't imagine doing this everyday, but i will try it for my weekend look. I workout in the morning, and have just enough time to get dressed for work. I have been out of practice for years, and will try to get back into at least a weekend routine. Thanks for sharing!

Too many steps for a beginner. I’m not a beginner, but always looking for tips since I’m ever changing as I age. I’m lighter skinned, and wonder how this info would apply to my skin tone.. Best to all that are really beginners. Good info, but I started nodding after 20 minutes 😅

Great job Kiki! I was laughing at myself because when you use the concealer, (the lighter one) it brought back memories of applying a concealer close to that color. My complexion is comparable to yours maybe just a tab more golden, I hurried up and took it off. Your makeup looks gorgeous.

Thank you for the education. I'm 52 and thought "baking" was for women in their 20s, 30s and 40s. Honestly, I can't remember the channel but it was a makeup tutorial for women over 50 and I swear I recall her saying that baking was for younger women. I appreciate you being more in-depth about it----so it's not the age it is having the right products and TOOLS!. You definitely have a new subscriber and I probably will be binge-watching your past videos 😊😊and look forward to your upcoming ones.

I never get tired of watching this video. You’re BEAUTIFUL and I love the minimalist version as much as the evening version. My greatest challenge is my natural dark circles under my eyes and my eyelids. I’m multi-racial and the dark circles which I have had since I was in my 20’s are inherited from my South Asian roots. At 59, I now know how to brighten enough to not look tired.
I appreciate you making these beauty videos because as a licensed cosmetologist, I was never taught how to do what you do. It’s good to see different techniques.

@@KiKiCarr The title is misleading. Sure it’s simple to you since you are a “professional “, but for me as a beginner, there was nothing simple about your process. Simple to me would probably be about 5- 10 mins, without 20 different products. Again, was hoping it was something I could use and share. …and no, it’s not “harder than I thought “, there are actually some simple beginner friendly videos out here..
as a beginner it’s important to not only learn about product & techniques but the language as well .. a look like this is called “simple”
simple looks are made up of neutrals and flesh tones … they don’t feature bold colors or complicated eye shadow shapes .. this is one of the simplest looks anybody can do ..
if you are not interested in learning how to do flawless makeup that’s ok .. everything is not for everybody .. if all you want is a lil sumthin that’s cool .. better than nothing 🤷🏾♀️
sounds like you figured beginners meant just a few steps.. not hard .. quick .. super easy etc ..
but just like math the subject of makeup runs deep .. it goes from 1+1 all the way up to phD in mathematics.. I haven’t even studied everything about makeup ..

I’m a much lighter lady, also over 50. I really like how your makeup looks. I have some of under eye nonsense. I don’t want to wear a ton of makeup( very sensitive skin) your method is wonderful. I just needed to know where the light and dark parts go. We have a similar face shape with the hooded eyes. I’m a late comer to skin care and serums but it’s a game changer. Thanks so much for sharing your pro advice. I also have to give myself a good stable brow. Mine are black but very sparse.
