- In 2007 LEGO Star Wars released it's first Battle Packs, on of them was the 7655 Clone Troopers Battle Pack and boy was it great. It had 2 regular P2 Clones, a Shock Trooper, & a 327th Trooper! Great variety for LEGO Clone Army Building!

I'm still nostalgic for this set. These are the troopers from the LEGO Star Wars Saga game. My favorite scene is the Kashyyyk Beach.

This set was truly ahead of its time, as Lego made this one of the first Star Wars sets ever to make a clone with yellow markings double as a clone pilot.
All jokes aside, this was my first ever Star Wars set
This is an all time classic LEGO sw battle pack/set, can't wait for the next battle pack with phase 2 regs

I was not born when this came out and never had it or even remember seeing it, yet this gave me nostalgia
I still have this battlepack TO THIS DAY. One of the greatest for sure. The nostalgia is real for this one 🥲🥲

Every now and then I see people complaining about people buying tons of clone sets to build an army because it makes the supply of that set run out faster and limits the amount of people who can buy it, but I feel like people forget that a lot of today’s AFOLs grew up with battle packs like this, where buying multiple of the sets to “build your army!” was intended by Lego themselves

I can’t describe how much I love this set! Lego got every detail perfect (for the time) and it inspired some great battle packs with only 4 regular clones to come like the 212th battle pack and the 41st elite corps battle pack. I am thinking about getting this one after watching the review! Thank you Ryan.

One of my first lego, my first battle pack. Still have it with my Clone Wars shelf. I also have the droid battle pack. And I always dreamt about the Clone Turbotank on the notice 😂

Such a legendary Lego set. When this set came out I finally was able to have an army of phase 2 troops. I had of bought almost 20 of these
This was THE set. Every lego clone wars base on early TH-cam had these turrets lined up

I remember losing my mind over the new blaster pieces that came out in this wave. I got the Grievous ship before this one, so that was my first new blaster, but this beefed up my armory substantially.
My favorite lego set ever made. This set is the reason I'm a clone army builder today.

Man what a nice battlepack. Two regular, a shock, and a Star Corps troopers. I would love these battlepacks with different legions like how the 2011 one has bomb squad, ARF, and Horn company troopers.
I remember building the 2007 droid battle pack at my grandmas as a kid and the AT-ST at my childhood kitchen table with my mom, my first gen of Star Wars sets

Got this from a seller on reddit for $50 used. Pretty good deal I’d say. He even threw in an extra shock trooper and 327th trooper

Ah man the nostalgia, this was my first Lego set when I was a kid. I still have one white clone from that pack, all the other ones died to “sharpie customization” lol

I really like the Coruscant guard, and also the turret reminds me of the Gun turrets from the original battlefront.
THIS SET.....This set was one of my FIRST ever Battle pack! Oh the nostalga. This, the drop ship that came with the Storm Troopers and shadow trooper, and the Droid carrier packs. They all will have a place in my heart :D
I just have a feeling that if this battle pack came out today and not in yesteryear M&R would be tearing it to shreds

I have this battlepack same as the droid one in addition to the Shuttle and the Y-Wing back in the day you really got your moneys worth and that 10fold.
Like I also got the Snowspeeder from 1999, Landspeeder 1999, Anakins Podracer 1999, Flash Speeder from 2000, A-wing Fighter from 2000, Twin-Pod Cloud Car 2002, Sandcrawler from 2005, Scout Walker from 2005, Trade Federation MTT 2007, Clone Gunship 2008 same as the AT-TE and the ATT, Venator Class Star destoryer in 2009 and the last thing I bought was the Turbo Tank from 2010 then I kinda fell out of love with the hobby but recently came back to it and I am shocked at the price to actual use value.
The 2000-2010 era was the best for Lego Star Wars the Battlepacks were amazing the prices were fair and overall it was super fun to be in the hobby.

The Phase II helmets here just look like Stormtrooper helmets. They don't look like Phase II Clone Trooper helmets at all to me.
Other than that, it's amazing how this set has only 58 pieces yet feels so complete and worth the $15.
My mother was already at cashier with the Y-wing when I noticed these battle packs on shelf...
They were amazing but I always hated myself later for not getting the Y-wing.
Mother was quite happy to leave the store with just 20$ worth of purchase 😂😂😂

The og helmets look a lot more lego-y and fit the odd proportions of a minifigure a lot better than the new ones imo.

Honestly, it’s crazy to see how much battlepacks have changed over the years. Back then, they were cheap and had good clones. Now, they’re $20 USD, and have helmet holes and made with zero care
But this is the battle pack of all battle packs

Saying these are “good clones” is wild to me, especially when the quality control back then was so bad. You’re blinded by nostalgia, these clones are awful. I’d stop collecting clones altogether if they brought this awful mold back. They look more like storm troopers than clones

@@DrMindmasher LEGO just can’t understand what fan really want. Lego fan would call a battle pack PERFECT if it would contain 1 or 2 white shiny trooper, and the rest of the troopers from different legions like 212th, shock trooper, 327th or 104th..
But instead of that, we only have battle packs of the same legions (501st) for years (and its 332nd variant that few care about). That’s the problem.
For the next battle pack, they should really do a multiple legions battle pack with at least 1 or 2 NEW legions inside (104th or 327th as an exemple). Fan would be EXTREMELY satisfied and Lego could stop clone battle packs for few years to create some stormtroopers or other armies battle packs.
It's always nostalgic that we got some "build your army" battle pack with nothing but troopers and nice looking vehicles and those iconic blasters!

I still have a few clones from these packs and i have the feeling that the helmets detach very easy wich is odd if you want to play with them. Anyway cool figures for the shelf :D

2007 what a great year for Lego, I wish I had gotten this set instead of the droids, at that time, oh well.
Legendary battlepack but putting the numbers today. This set is $15 with 58 pieces compared to the current $20 of packs now. Man it almost justifies the $20 price point when you think about a near consistent piece count of ~100 pieces. Price per piece nerds could say $5 more and you get nearly doubled the piece count.
Just my thought.

While i think the 501st battlepack and the clone walker battle pack are better, their is just something about the og that is just beautiful. It aged so well

This is such a good set it deserves 2nd place in terms of battlepacks, number one is the droids battle pack with the most figures in a battlepack EVER ,with 7 figures

I built this on a tray table on a plane in 2007 and all of the pieces fell on the ground and under the seat it was a whole mess
And in 2007 their could be a Gold-Chrome " CP30" in that set.
