I have been wanting to make a mini album forever!! What a great detailed lesson for us beginners. Thank you. Just one question... if I wanted more than 3 pages, how thick should the spine be... is the rule of thumb 3 pgs per 1.5 inch? so 6pg = 3 inches?
I don’t watch Kathy aorta (King) nor do I know what her binding system is , it’s what I’ve learned from some other TH-cam channels when I started making albums and then changed sizes to what I need. But just to make sure I checked with her company and they told me this is not the same as her patented hinge.

Great job on the tutorial. You explained very well. I also like to do 3/8 gussets. 5 x7 is a good size for a mini album. TFS

This looks like the Kathy Orta (King) hidden hinge binding album. I thought she licensed it, so you are unable to copy or sell these albums.
