I love these. I am going to make these for my mom and put pictures of her children and grandchildren in it. She is of an age where she still likes printed photos. Thanks for working through this process for us.

I think they seem perfect for Grandparents that have 3 grand babies as little brag books. I love the idea of saving sewing or cross-stitch little pieces. Or just a prayer book. Now, you need to make a little box to put them in or something bigger that they fit into. I definitely like this idea. Not only this idea, I love this collection. It's my all-time favorite from my minds eye Gingham Gardens collection. When I heard they were no longer selling paper, I have been searching all around my areas in each store and buying up the remaining items of the collection. Now that simple stories came out with a similar look, it's nice as well. 😊

Hey Cathy, hmmmm - I don’t think so, I stitch on my scrapbook layouts and there may be a little segment of stitching on one of them in one of my earlier videos but the machine is set up outside of my filming area so I don’t take a lot of footage of that part. Happy to answer any questions you have about that? If that helps 👍
I've never had an issue stitching through paper, regular card stock or vellum/acetate and I just use a regular needle. I would suggest you keep a separate needle though if you are also doing fabric projects (just keep a needle for paper and one for fabric). I actually have a dedicated machine for paper craft so I don't need to worry about switching the needle up. It's also not a super expensive one so if anything were to happen to it, it wouldn't be the end of the world. My machine is a really old Janome that my mum bought for me in a garage sale. So you don't need anything fancy. The outer part of the album is one layer of pattern paper and then the clear acetate and I had no trouble at all stitching through that. If you are working with something thicker, just go a little slower, I find that helps.
