I am an old fart and have never been in the closet. I also have never declared to anyone, "I am gay." I live my life referring to my husband as my husband. Many years ago, when looking for a guy to date, I would go up to a guy I found attractive and ask them if they might be gay. Very few were. I never once cared what anyone thought of me being me. Believe me, it was pure hell growing up. But I am lucky. I have always liked myself and knew it was not I who had the problem. So stop worrying about what people will think; just be yourself. You never have to justify your existence.

Yes. In the past, I thought that once a person came out that was it. Because I am from a homophobic environment, I am always fearful that the gay person is going to get hurt once it is established. I am happy that you both are in a much safer environment and therefore can live your best life now. 🎉😊❤
It is interesting the way that our minds work. I remember an elderly woman was struggling with her groceries and I ran over to assist her. She did the classic "You're such a fine young man" thing that reminded me of my grandmother and then she told me that her pretty granddaughter should date someone like me. I declined and tried to leave but she called me back and said that she also had a handsome grandson too! I laughed and instantly felt like an idiot but the grandmother that she'd reminded me of had threatened to go no contact with any of her grandchildren if they ever came out. I placed that on my interaction with a stranger who I'd probably never even see again.
Barbers definitely are nerve wrecking for me so i get it! Also, when coming out, one thing that has helped me is when my friends unintentionally do it for me. Like at a small get together with new people around me, sometimes my friends would ask me things like “are you interested in any guys from your class?” while the new people were around us to hear. It just lets them know this information about me without having to outright tell people. It feels way more natural. I was once a leader for a large group of guys in college. My friend knew one of the guys in my roster and i guess she mentioned me being gay, then suddenly basically everyone knew before they even officially met me. This can be a good or bad situation, but i was more relieved that everyone already knew so i didnt have to feel self conscious that they were questioning it when they’d eventually meet me. Admittedly this is way harder when youre singled out at a place like the gym or the barbers. This is mainly a larger scale solution.
I find it incredibly frustrating and intrusive, because it’s a very personal question. People just assume you are married with 2.4 kids etc etc. tedious (well it is to me) we are quite private because of homophobia and we get anxious about how people react. It should not be like this but unfortunately it is. Great vlog guys 😎👍
Lot's of times when I hang out in public with one of my female friends, people will think we're together! From people saying we're a cute couple, to some lady trying to sell love potions to us, it's the weirdest thing! All of the times, I just didn't process what was happening, so I never said anything. Usually, we just don't respond, but one of my friends said, no we're just best friends. I swear, one of these days, I'll say, god no, I'm gay and she's my sister! Just to make them uncomfortable. lol Although, if I do get a boyfriend. I would want someone to ask if I have a girlfriend, and when I say no, they say, oh so you're single? Then say no again and they can have the confused pikachu face, not understanding some people are gay. lol It is a shame people assume things.
Barber Shop haircuts vs a Salon visit for a shampoo and style... *A barber shop in Texas you might as well be in a sports bar without the beer...* A salon visit is a totally different experience. *Try it, You're worth it!*

I was wondering would you suggest of practicing owning your gayness my practicing on Strangers aren't most of us afraid to own that being gay is because we don't want to hurt loved ones just wondering what you thought
I bet half the time they are chancing it probably being gay themselves. I reckon they have guessed you're gay and fancy their chances with you so ask 'how's the girlfriend'? I may be wrong.

I come out of the closet each time that is necessary. It is important that people know how they must treat you based on how you are.
