I own several LePera seats (and several different HD's too) every LePera seat I own is on the parts shelf for sale. Good looking seats, but they're the most uncomfortable seats I've tried.
I love the fact you put dual disk on your sportster. My son just laid his sportster down due to weak brakes. We are trying to figure out how to add dual disk and a 4.5 gallon Breakout tank to his ride.
I had a springer front end on my sporty once with dual disc, but changed it back because I didn't care for the bounce when hitting a bump, not called springer for nothing!
Hey brother I just wanted to say thank you so much for your help and guidance on my bike and keep up the great job and content, I appreciate it and you!!!
Good tip about the kickstand. If you ever had the kickstand down you know the uneasy feeling, and your friends behind you will never let you live it down, either.
That last raffle bike was the most desirable one for me yet out of all the bikes they've raffled away. A rubber mounted shovel, five speed Tour Glide. Its on my short list, lol.
That’s a great looking bike now! Looks like an old friend of mines 1975 ! He put a girder front end on it, and a hard tail frame. I 😮Had it up to 110 miles per hour! 😅
Wow got a lot of work done. I was about to give you grief on not riding when you said you were sick after you gave me a hard time for not riding down there last time i came to visit. Ya'll have fun in FL!
Me too! Mine was a 79 sportster motor in a hardtail frame that was made to be kick only. I didn't even know it was a chopper at the time. All I knew is that it was a harley and that was enough. Lol
My riding days began in 1970 and they continue on Brit bikes, mostly Triumph twins and triples of that time. I have owned a few Harleys, Sportsters mostly. I did once own an FXS80. Anyway my favourite Sportster was an XL1000 of late 70s vintage. I really liked that bike. Sadly it was stolen in the 1980s from outside my flat in London. I wouldn’t say that I prefer it to a Triumph of the same era, but it was fun and I preferred it to the later evo type Sportsters and any the of the big twins. Enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for posting.
Oops, Great video, hope your feeling better 👍 Finally putting the 72 ironhead back together, engine was a nightmare, say no more!!! Good to see you Cheers mate
Prayers for you to feel better asap broham. sucks to be sick. I wish i could go to the cookout, no way to do it though so I get to watch from afar again and maybe they will call my name. LOL im still sporting the 99 aspencade. shes looking better than eh bangcock bagger though.
Hope your feeling better Bud. The Iron Maiden sounds great. Hope you didn't hurt yourself putting her down. I'd be willing to bet on your next build you'll give a little extra attention to the kick stand. Amazing how something so simple can be so critical for a safe ride.
Yeah it was a pretty freaky experience. I didn't feel my head hitting the road, but noticed quite the gash on my helmet afterwards; which explains the 3 day long headache I couldn't shake.
Never pull in Strait always pull up and back in so you can get the fuck out of there if you have to 1% law with a lot of clubs support your local 16nz keep doing what you’re doing brother on your channel. It’s great and I’m glad to see you go down to Shadetree surgeons and his family campouts because they do a lot of good.💯
Thanks brotherman. Once again, informative and enjoyable. Like the music. And I'll take that tip about the 22-toother for my bike... Hope you're feelin's are gooder!
I have been trying to call the forgotten angel camp host but they are not returning or answering their phone. Probably full. Might see ya sometime this summer 🌞. Do you have your email address posted somewhere.
Some folk use boiled linseed oil to help stop oxidation, for handlebars like that you’d only need a few drops then polish it on and let dry for a couple days….thicker applications for say truck chassis and body panels work great after rust removal with wire wheel then some kind of product like jenolite or hammerite krust… 🙂👍🏻
My old ironhead is a 79 and I run a 23 tooth front and a 48 on the rear and love it that way. I cruse at 70 with no problem. Where I ride the speed limit is mostly 50 and I can ride around 3000 rpms at 65 and the ole bike loves it. Good luck - later
Yeah it seems every bike I get I got to change the spring on the kickstand.. they tend to flop around after a while and I found a few well the non Chrome to last longer ..
The only thing I didn't like about my 84 sportster was the 4 speed. Always cought myself trying to shift into 5th that wasn't there. Going 70mph on the highway felt like the engine was too high on the rpm's. Other then that, I loved that bike
Hey brother, how are you doing? I just wanted to say that I love your channel and I also have a ironhead sporty but I can't find anyone who still works on them and I live in Hattiesburg MS so can you please help me out and tell me who still works on them? It was sitting up for years and I can't get it running so I could really really use some advice. Thanks brother and keep up the amazing content and look forward to seeing more from you and tell the wife that she's a great camera woman!!! 😂
Hello from Ukraine. I dream of a Harley EVO, fat boy, about 5 years old, I’ve never seen a Harley, I just watched 1000 the video about harley, and it seems to me that the sound on a sportster is better and there are more vibrations, which motorcycle gives you more drive?) Softail Evo or Sportster Evo 1200?)
Hello! Thanks for watching. I find that the 1200 sportster has more power for speed than the evo softail. Both engines are just as good though. The evo sportster engine is a bit more durable and can take more abuse.
I own several LePera seats (and several different HD's too) every LePera seat I own is on the parts shelf for sale. Good looking seats, but they're the most uncomfortable seats I've tried.
I hear ya, man
I put Corbin in the same category. Never ridden a LePera.
Love the 1976 tank decal design
That makes both of us. Thanks, man.
I love the fact you put dual disk on your sportster. My son just laid his sportster down due to weak brakes. We are trying to figure out how to add dual disk and a 4.5 gallon Breakout tank to his ride.
It'll require some front end mods and a wheel that's accept another another disc. There's a few tank kits out there too.
I had a springer front end on my sporty once with dual disc, but changed it back because I didn't care for the bounce when hitting a bump, not called springer for nothing!
Love the bike and still look at our pic from forgetting angels
Mix and match that's what it's all about 👍
You do what you gotta do sometimes.
Glad to see ya back Brother, hope you feel better soon 🙏
Hey brother I just wanted to say thank you so much for your help and guidance on my bike and keep up the great job and content, I appreciate it and you!!!
Sure thing, man. Glad to help.
You’ve come so far from your original bike since I joined your site, good job Cory👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you, Lloyd. Especially for being around thus far.

Good to see you again as always.

Thanks for the thoughts, man
I always liked those old AMF paint and stripes on the sportsters and the super Glides… thanks buddy…
Me too, man. Thank you as well.
Well whatcha know, a daily rider Ironhead & Shovel!! Looks good with that front end too.
Riding a bike has always been known to making you feel better! Ride On!
