There is no problem to only do the fard. Sahih al-Bukhari 1891 Narrated Talha bin 'Ubaidullah: A bedouin with unkempt hair came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Inform me what Allah has made compulsory for me as regards the prayers." He replied: "You have to offer perfectly the five compulsory prayers in a day and night (24 hours), unless you want to pray Nawafil." The bedouin further asked, "Inform me what Allah has made compulsory for me as regards fasting." He replied, "You have to fast during the whole month of Ramadan, unless you want to fast more as Nawafil." The bedouin further asked, "Tell me how much Zakat Allah has enjoined on me." Thus, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) informed him about all the rules (i.e. fundamentals) of Islam. The bedouin then said, "By Him Who has honored you, I will neither perform any Nawafil nor will I decrease what Allah has enjoined on me. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "If he is saying the truth, he will succeed (or he will be granted Paradise).

It's a toxic culture in the subcontinent and among the Ummah as a whole that people interrogate and reprimand people regarding the nawafil. Even in the comments, you'll see people doing the same. If you keep niyyah that u wont leave a single fardh you will become someone who wont miss a sunnah prayer
It's perfectly fine but it's highly recommended to do as many as you can
Bro try to pray with Small Surah , this will take 1 minute for 1 rakat.
At Miraj, Allah told Muhammad that Muslims should pray 50 times a day. But Muhammad went back and forth between Musa (who said 50 times is too much of a burden) and Allah and negotiated the number down to 5 times per day. We recognize this from the Arab business culture of haggling 🦜
that's what is the problem with the SHORT videos. In the full video he explained the importance of Sunnah prayers nicely too.
May Allah SWT guide us all!
I don't see any problem with this short.
It clears the misconception of people who think leaving sunnah prayer is sin. So they dont force themselves to pray and they pray from their heart.
And it hepls people to at least start the prayer for those who dont pray at all
That's the good thing about you bro, now I will search and watch the full video.
Really they should put it in the short!!
@taukirsheikh9405 yes ur right but those who force themselves to pray sunnah will see this and think oh i dont have to pray sunnah anymore and might stop completely. In the full video he explains the benefits of sunnah too so those who are this peaying sunnah is mandatory ease off a little and pray from there heart.
Fard is to pray for Allah SWT command, Sunnah and Nafil is to pray for Prophet Muhammad SAW love. Pray both you get rewarded
Bro are you okay? Nafil is to pray from the prophet SAW???
I will never ever leave sunnah... 4 rakats for fajr, 10,4,5,9 for the other prayers
Bragging about your voluntary deeds will nullify them. So unless you purify your intentions and repent, that's a lot of exercise for nothing.
Good for you, but what made you boast about it?
@@abu.nahiyanu should assume the best of ur brother. Maybe he wasnt boasting but rather sharing the sunnah for each salah. The begining was him sharing his view on it and after he said what the sunnah is.

Its all about your love to gain as much good deeds as possible because one day will come when your health will not allow you to pray even the fard, then why not should we pray the fard, sunnah and nafl while we are in good health.
Atleast start with fard salah without leaving or delaying it.
Muslim men aren’t allowed to miss 3 jumat prayers consecutively.
Try telling this to South Asian parents.
If you have missed many fard prayers in the past. Advice would be to pray your Sunnah prayers to cover up for the missed fard prayers.
It's a toxic culture in the subcontinent and among the Ummah as a whole that people interrogate and reprimand people regarding the nawafil. Even in the comments, you'll see people doing the same. The nawafil are pivate and optional. Whether someone prays the nawafil or not is up to them, and you can not force them or reprimand them for leaving it. If you do so, you have oppressed them. You don't know what they do in private. If you perform the nawafil, then the best way to do it is privately, and bragging about it will nullify your deeds.
Ameen
I pray every sunnah and all voluntary prayers for every one of the 5 salahs, I hope that counts.
it counts with extra hasanat my brother

Which question... don't real the sunnah and nafs as they arent mandatory. Also as if we are not told to follow the foot steps of our prophet Muhammad pbuh. So least we can do is also to pray the sunnahs as well

Sunnah prayyer is an optional act one who does will have great reward.
Also it is needed to know as some people think that not praying sunnah means doing sin and thinking that they pray 17 rakah for Isha makes them not pray any fardh too.
A Bedouin came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "Tell me of such a deed as will make me enter Paradise, if I do it." The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, "Worship Allah, and worship none along with Him, offer the (five) prescribed compulsory prayers perfectly, pay the compulsory Zakat, and fast the month of Ramadan." The Bedouin said, "By Him, in Whose Hands my life is, I will not do more than this." When he (the Bedouin) left, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever likes to see a man of Paradise, then he may look at this man."
