Hello I appreciate this ministry and the amazing content you guys put out but sadly i disagree with this first i do Not believe it is okay for us to condemn or insult the people who practice halloween but the Bible clearly makes a distinction between the world and the body of Christ we are called to "be separate" and "not conform to the world" we are called to glorify Christ in all things and i do not see how celebrating a festival that is so wordly and has nothing to do with Christ can be okay. I'm Not saying you can't give out candy and be nice to those who support it But putting on costumes and going to these parties does Not glorify God in any way. To make it simple i would simply ask - Would Jesus dress up & celebrate this? or let's look at the Old Testament in Israel there were Non-israelites like samaritans, cannanites who had their own customs and practices would Moses or Isaiah say "guys let's love these people and go celebrate their customs and go to their parties woohoo!" ?God judged Israel in Ezekiel 11 saying you have conformed to the nations around you and practiced their customs and also said in Jeremiah 10 "Do not learn the ways of Gentiles" essentially saying Do Not act or celebrate their customs. I strongly believe we are at a moment where the body of Christ is asleep and becoming more lenient and watering down the Bible just to be accepted in the world's eyes but all the prophets like Elijah & Jeremiah were rejected & alone preaching a harsh message that landed them in prison yet they didn't water down their message but kept saying preaching God's harsh words. As a fellow Christian i love you guys and your ministry but i do feel this line of reasoning and message sort of suggests to young people(like me) that these things are okay, that its okay to dress up & attend parties (where most often alcohol, drugs are secretly brought in prom included), it's okay to be in pre-marital relationships and go with them to parties which just often fuels young people with urges to ultimately commit sexual sins, that it's okay to dress immodestly a few times ultimately leading to all the time and blasting it on social media. Do we see this? our "little" compromise leads to more and more compromise ultimately the youth which God rescued are in total sin and have "doubts" leading to renouncing the faith and practicing these things full blown. We shouldn't compromise at all even little bit or even suggest that sort of reasoning just to be accepted in the eyes of man. Christ never preached that rather He said you will be casted out, rejected and alone and Peter says gentiles will think it strange that you're not following them so i do appreciate this ministry but please don't suggest this type of reasoning it is better to be denied and rejected by the world than to be denied by Christ.

Thank you for your kind words about our ministry. :) They are much appreciated!
When it comes to judging another's choices, the Bible is clear that we SHOULD have discernment as to what's right and wrong, thus, judging the righteousness or morality of a situation, action, thought, or word. That said, it is extremely important to examine each person's circumstances and each situation individually and refrain from making blanket assumptions about anyone.
When Jesus said, "Do not judge, or you too will be judged, for with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you" (Matthew 7:1-2), He was warning against making a quick judgement against another person.
Take into consideration the bigger picture when making a judgment. To simply judge a person based on their appearance, reputation, gossip, or rumors is foolishness (John 7:24; Proverbs 18:13; Luke 7:36-50). Make sure you have all the facts before you judge.
Knowing what is righteous and unrighteous helps us as we develop our own faith and contend with our own sins. Discerning sinfulness in a fellow believer's life is a part of helping them develop their faith. But judging others does not mean spitting venom when they are caught up in a sinful situation, action, thought, or word. James 2:12-13 reminds us that we're all in the same boat when it comes to sin, so we should be merciful when we judge others. "For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment" (James 2:13).
Do not be quick to judge others, but rather be wise in seeking the truth about any given situation (Colossians 1:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:21). When we do approach a fellow believer with a judgment about alleged sinfulness, we must speak gently and lovingly (Galatians 6:1), with a motivation to restore that person to God-never for selfish revenge or prideful rebuke.
Ephesians 4:15-16 tells us to speak the truth in love because "we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love." Let's break that "hypocritical Christian" stereotype, shall we? It CAN happen, and it all starts with ONE person opting for love over loathing.

@@412teens if the choices made doesn't line up with scripture it's a bad choice. Halloween should not be celebrated by anyone who is trying to get into the Kingdom of Elohim. We are supposed to be not of this world. If this world celebrates Halloween we definitely should not be doing it. We have 7 amazing set apart feast says that are actually biblical. We need to be as far away as possible from all things not biblical. I'd you are trying to lead the youth in the biblical direction and are saying it's ok to celebrate Halloween just remember that your judgement will be worse according to scripture

@@adam600044 We are prepared for that judgment, and it is our conviction that it is best to equip young believers with instruction on spiritual discernment and critical thinking vs. legalism and a disregard for God's grace as we learn.

Your in error. You can’t redeem something God already condemned! Dark is dark light is light. We can judge believers as-well, as long as we do it righteously with love and correction from scriptures.Philippians 1:27 you got first part right, but the second part about not correcting those in errors is Wrong. Scripture is for teaching and correction. Not hiding the truth to do your fleshy desires.

We are talking about different things when we speak of judging sin. When we are talking about "holidays," refer to Romans 14.
For sure lovingly call out your Christian siblings if you see them practicing witchcraft--that is clearly a sin in the Bible. If your Christian sibling chooses to hand out candy on Halloween, that is not a witchcraft or sin issue--it is a personal conviction (again, see Romans 14), a decision made between that person and God.

I don't understand what Christians don't understand about this.
This is equivalent to doing the ritual of necromancy but then saying it's okay if I just necromance a Saint or an angel, if I try to bring up Paul and talk to him... it's still idolatry. All you're doing is now trying to involve Christ into your idolatry
You're dressing up on this specific time of the year, trick or treating this time of the year, and doing all of these ritualistic things this time of the year, why? Because it goes back to the Celtic tradition of Summer's end where the custom was the Living & Dead blur and you dress up as the dead to then blend in with the spirits that came and or kept the mischievous ones at Bay. Then you would go mumming or trick-or-treating. Giving them opportunity to either give me a treat or I will trick you, I will do mischievous things to you because you represent the evil spirits that would go door to door and get the offerings laid out for them. And then you do it year after year after year after year and teach your kids year after year to do the same thing in tradition... that's called idolatry sir.
Let me ask you something have you kept passover, the Feast of tabernacles, the Feast of pentecost, the Sabbath day holy?

And I'm going to take that as a no you haven't celebrated Passover Tabernacles Pentecost things that are actually inside the Bible that God commands. But instead you uphold man's traditions which is exactly what Christ tells you not to do in Mark 7.
So you should Ponder on it before you just ignorantly Proclaim your proud celebration of it

Sorry that is incorrect Halloween is Christian. The pagans celebrate Samhain pronounces (Sow-in) which was their new year. Halloween is a truncation of All Hallows Eve and hallow means holy. Pagans don't practice holiness last I checked. The reason so many people think there's a connection is because they fall on the same day. The Christians were celebrating All Hallows Eve centuries before and on a different date. It was later switched to November 1st which would make the celebration the eve of All Hallows. When it was originally celebrated on May 13th May 12th was All Hallows Eve (Halloween). So the association between Halloween and paganism is coincidental. There are some pagan elements mixed in with the commercial Halloween. Be aware of this fact because modern pagans are trying to give their festivals continuity all the way back. The truth is Christians had converted most of the pagans by the time Christianity celebrated All Hallows Day in the Celtic countries.

Thank you for sharing! All Saints Day (and celebrations on the eve of that day) did indeed originate with the Roman Catholic Church in 604 AD, but it does not pre-date the Celtic celebrations of Samhain. (Source: www.history.com/topics/halloween/history-of-halloween)

    • @studentofthesaviors.o.s
      @studentofthesaviors.o.s ปีที่แล้ว

No that's absolutely correct Christians got it from the Celtic tradition Samhain... then Catholics an attempt to convert these people took on their customs and just attached Christ name to the idolatry ... it's still evil it's still idolatry it's still pagan and not holy at all.
Holy would be the Sabbath day, passover, pentecost, Tabernacles things that are actually in the Bible said to be holy.
